hello. I had liposuction on my thighs and buttocks.
I looked into it and had the surgery...
Since it was my first time having liposuction surgery, I wasn't sure if the results of the surgery were good, so
I decided to write to ask you about it.
About a year ago (2018) In early May,
I underwent liposuction on my entire thigh and buttocks at a hospital near Exit 3 of Apgujeong Station, which is famous for large-capacity liposuction. The current condition is as shown in the photo.
After 3 months, I felt the side of my thighs were dented and uneven, and
the side of my hip joint and the top of my buttocks looked dented. I contacted the hospital where I had the surgery and sent them photos of the area via KakaoTalk to inquire. It was only
3 months after the surgery, so they said it would get better. He said that it would be, and explained that a before and after comparison would be done at 6 months.
So I decided to wait 3 more months.
After taking the medication, I lost a lot of weight through exercise.
Then, due to recovery from another surgery, I gained about 5-6 kg in weight, and
in March of this year, I went to the hospital again, and as soon as I got there, they told me that it was because I had gained weight.
(I gained weight recently and when I exercised regularly. At the time, I was 164cm tall and weighed 51kg, but the condition was the same.. If
you gain weight after the suction surgery, it looks sunken and lumpy like this?...)
The director kept telling me that the lumps were because I gained weight....
At the hospital, I lost 10kg. He said that he would do the surgery again if I removed it...
And the shocking thing was...
while looking at the chart, I thought, 'Did the assistant director listed next to you, not the main director, remove more fat?'
I was shocked when I heard him say this to himself.
So, I kept asking myself why I should undergo liposuction reoperation if I was going to lose 10 kilos, and I realized that
if I do reoperation while I have gained weight, the bumps may not go away easily. He said...
I kept asking if it made sense to lose 10 kilos, and
he told me to lose at least 4 to 5 kilos and come back to see the progress... ㅜㅜ What on earth is this about...
And if I have to have surgery again, I will provide love handle service as a service. He said he would put it in...
I didn't want the service, I just wanted a boner, but I wanted to restore my leg to its original state... I
went to the hospital because they said they were really good at it... Is it right for me to talk like that now?
Is this strange??..
I am writing this because I want to get help from someone who has experienced treatment in this case.. ㅜㅜ
Before liposuction, I still wore shorts and skirts, but now I can’t wear shorts to the bathroom, swimming pool, or shorts..
My family and friends Every time I see a scar on my leg, I worry about why it's like that, but I'm so embarrassed and upset... I'm going crazy...
Are there many cases like this like me??
Will it come back over time?? How long will it take to return? (It's been about a year now)
And is it necessary to have reoperation? Can't it be done with injections or other procedures? I'm really scared of having surgery again. It's
scary, but I want to go back to how it was before.
If I can recover, I want to get reconstructive surgery right away
. I'm not criticizing the hospital, but I have some unnecessary distrust.
I can't contact the hospital anymore... What should I do?...
I think the initial surgery cost was about 5 to 6 million won...
I went to a hospital famous for liposuction restoration... It's about 10 million won. He said...
I was so stressed because of this that I started losing my hair...
I'll say it again, I have no intention of criticizing or disparaging the hospital where I had the surgery, so I
have no intention of disclosing the name of the hospital.
I just want it to be restored.. Please give me some information..
Since the surgery cost was not small for me, I posted a post to see if it was normal for it to happen like this.
If you have a similar experience to me or know a treatment method, please contact me separately.
(The photo shows the side view of both legs, the side line of the buttocks seen from the back, and the side view of the buttocks)
I think it's inevitable that if you lose all the fat from a body that originally had a lot of fat, it will become lumpy. I also had lumpy skin, so I managed it for a few years mainly with strength training. But I think I need to lose the areas that don't have much fat first. My friend was also severely obese and suffered from total body fat. They did it 2-3 times at the same hospital.
[@YoYa] I don't think I can ever do it at the same hospital. I've already lost trust and the response was so disappointing when I went back. ㅠㅠ Thank you for your comment.
It may be bumpy in the beginning, but
it's been a year and why is it like that? There seems to be a problem. Instead of talking to an empty-headed counselor, talk directly to your doctor who has medical knowledge. Even though I put my honor on the line, I feel embarrassed so I won't be able to send him back and will have a repeat surgery. But I think it will be difficult to restore it to its original state. I think it will ease over time.
[@Slowly] I showed the photo to the hospital and they told me to come in to see the progress, so I made an appointment and came in, but I couldn't even see the doctor during the hour-long consultation..ㅠ They kept talking only through the director's line... I keep visiting other hospitals..Thank you for the advice. do
[@Lee Dae- saeng] Hello, I was so stressed out that I checked the comments too late. I am so thankful for this long post that I feel like crying.. I will definitely try to do so. You will be blessed....
I think it's wrong???? Just looking at it, it's a side effect.
I've had other side effects, but the bumpy side effects seem to be severe. I
think I'll have to re-operate. I think I'll have to go to a place that does suction for transplants. Don't talk to your counselor anymore. It'll make you feel like you're talking to a wall, and you'll be even more upset. You've really ruined your leg. It's so fucking ridiculous that I have to live. I heard the same thing too^^ I'm angry.
[@Give it back to me] I understand the feelings of Give it back to me more than anyone else. It's just right to talk to the wall. I consulted for an hour, but he never once asked to see the director. Before the surgery, I had at least some hope that it would make me prettier, but now, I am dominated by the thought that I am ruined. Give me back, please cheer up..ㅠㅠ
[@nay8899] I can't tell you the name of the hospital, but I also have bumps on the inside, and there are parts that make my legs look square when I do my dad's legs. The other parts are worse, so I don't have time to worry about them, but one thing is for sure: everything is wrong... Cheer up. ..
I really wish hospitals would have a conscience and try to reach the best agreement for patients with side effects. Side effects can happen to anyone. There are many patients without side effects and they are benefiting greatly, so please pay attention to victims of side effects. Isn't there a plastic surgery association like this? I pray that the writer finds a solution. And since you are still young, save up for the treatment, recover your health, and wait for the second surgery. Cheer up.
