Because my nose was inflamed, I didn't want to use silicone again, and among the donated dermis, Alloderm was used as the material. The
absorption rate of the dermis is unpredictable, so I didn't know how much would remain and was worried when I heard that it might be bumpy... but I had no choice. I believed in the surgery..
I had contractures, and since my birth nose had a nose that clearly showed the nostrils, I wasn't even expecting a very fancy nose in the first place.. I
just decided to focus on lowering the tip of my nose by using my own ribs, and naturally applied Alloderm to the bridge of my nose to match that area.
In the beginning, the director said he had overcorrected by considering the absorption rate, and I was more worried because it was avatar than I thought, but after about a month, the swelling has gone down quite a bit, so there is no discomfort in daily life.. ??
My nose is not complete yet as I have to watch it for about 6 months until the dermis is absorbed, but I'm really happy that I got rid of the days of having a contracted nose.
