When I was young, I bumped my nose and my bones were bent. My right nose was 90% blocked and my left nose was 60% blocked. I had rhinitis and it was difficult to breathe through my nose. I also had a lot of runny nose. In early March, I had a surgery to correct the bent bones and correct their shape. I had the surgery. No implants were put in, just my septal cartilage. On the same day, around 13:00, anesthesia started on the operating table. -> They suddenly asked me my date of birth and my name, so I answered, and then fell asleep like I fainted. Around 14:40, I felt like something was tying my nose with stitches. I woke up on the operating table (the nurse told me to get up) and when I got up and tried to walk away, I stumbled a bit... I was half-asleep, but my mind was clearly awake and I could feel all the sensations in my body except my face. Then I went into the rest room, laid down, and was careful to breathe through my mouth. I moved carefully . I was discharged around 16:30. I caught a taxi that was stationed near the hospital and went home and lay down. (Is it better than I thought? Is the pain bearable? I thought.) From the day of surgery to the next day (day 2), I only ate small amounts of porridge and kept my mouth shut. I could only open it enough to fit 2-3 fingers, so I used a straw to drink water. When I tried to drink from the cup or open my mouth more, I felt a tearing pain around my nose and philtrum, so I had no choice but to be careful. I couldn't sleep well. It seemed like the 2-3 days after the surgery were the hardest. I was hoping that time would pass quickly, but it was like I was under a lot of mind control. About 48 hours after the surgery (on the 3rd day), I went to the hospital and removed the cotton stuck in my nose. It was really bleeding and I lost my senses. I became dazed and the pain lasted 10 to 12 seconds (3 to 4 seconds at the peak was so painful) and tears were flowing (I'm not crying because I wanted to cry..) I stopped coughing and I thought I was going crazy. It seemed like the cotton was longer than 10 cm. Then I filled it with another cotton. The director asked to see me again in 2 days. On the 4th day, I lay down most of the day and gargled.. and ate porridge.. But my mouth opened more and more and when I drink water or eat porridge, I breathe in through my nose first before eating? I got used to it. Is this day edema? The bruise seemed to be the worst, but wasn't it that bad? Dark circles felt like they were getting thicker. On the 5th day, I went to the hospital and took out the second cotton pad (ugh.. it hurt, but it was nothing compared to 2 days ago). I also put the third cotton pad in and took a shower for the first time that day. Be careful not to touch the front of my face. Being careful... On the 6th day, the blood started to harden and I felt uncomfortable, so I took out the third cotton pad on my own (because if it gets worse, I can just apply the cotton pad again), but I was fine and breathing through my nose for the first time in a long time was a new world. I wondered if the air was this fresh... at that time . I started to feel like the surgery went well, and my condition seemed to be getting better. Day 7: Similar to day 6. Day 8: When I took off the splint on my nose and looked at the shape of my nose, it looked pretty. I was satisfied because it looked natural without any implants and didn't look like plastic surgery. Still , I think I survived until the 2nd week. I can eat porridge comfortably, but I can't open my mouth wide... From this point on day 9 , can I eat regular soft food? I started eating meat. I cut it into small pieces and started eating it. I cut a strawberry into two pieces so it was okay to eat. Since I couldn't open my mouth wide, it wasn't easy to brush my teeth. On the 15th day (2 weeks left), the swelling around my nose went down a lot and I could eat regular food as long as it wasn't hard. I was able to eat without difficulty + brushing my teeth became much easier. From this point on, I was fine even if I just jumped up 2 stairs at a time (even after completing my daily routine..) On the 22nd day (3 weeks left), I felt better overall. As I sleep with my mouth open without discomfort and breathe comfortably through my nose, my condition is actually better than before the surgery. After 1 month, my mucous membrane has recovered, my nose hair has started to grow a lot, I am satisfied with the shape, my condition is good, the discomfort is completely gone, I only feel a little pain when I frown hard. After 6 weeks. At this time, I received treatment for the last time. The doctor said that I had some discomfort and that if it was okay, I didn't have to come. After 2 months, I felt that there was no pain at all unless I intentionally distorted my facial expression to make it look ugly, and that a lot of the swelling had gone down. 3 months later - Even if I distort my facial expression, there is no pain 99.9% of the time. It's okay. I'm living well, and my nose hair has grown more than before the surgery..? I just focused on resting well and taking food and medicine at the right time. I didn't do it because I didn't want to bother doing compresses for a day or two. I think the doctor who operated on me was quite skilled, and it went well without any major side effects. To sum it up, hell until the 2nd day, until a week. Inconvenience, be careful for up to 2 weeks, after that it's ok as long as you don't hit anything. Finished
