#7th day Same review of the 8th day
Originally, the stitches were removed on the 7th day, but due to the substitute holiday, the stitches were removed today, the 8th day!
The surgeries I underwent were open-ended, including rhinoplasty, curved nose improvement, abdominal rhinoplasty, and columella recession improvement, and autologous cartilage (ear cartilage) was used.
From the day I removed the cotton, I applied the ointment three times a day using a sterile cotton swab provided by the hospital.
The nurse taught me how to apply the medicine when I was removing the cotton pad. I applied it every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and by the 5th or 6th day, I was itching, perhaps because the wound was healing. I didn't feel any pain or discomfort except for the splint.
I could feel the swelling going down every day every time I looked in the mirror, and the bruises seemed to spread for a day when I first took the splint off, but they started to go down the next day.
Only the part where the beak was removed left a purple bruise, but this part is also slowly disappearing.
Even to the naked eye, the wound on the left healed slower than on the right, but when the stitches were taken out, the left side hurt..!!!! It hurt to the point where my left eye was a little teary..ㅠㅠㅠ
And the right side just didn't hurt.
Just once! It only hurt enough to do it, and when I pulled out the rest of the stitches, it felt like I was pulling out stitches, but it didn't hurt.
The stitches behind my ears didn't hurt at all, and I just taped them to keep them from getting stained. It didn't feel like much, to the point where I thought it hurt more when I removed it. Haha. All the stitches were
removed, but he said I had to keep applying ointment.
I also saw the director, and he said the swelling was good and it's still there. There was swelling at the tip of my nose, but overall I was fine.
He told me that the swelling was going down well and the wound was healing well, and that the bruising and swelling on the bridge of the nose where the bridge of the nose was removed would gradually improve. After a consultation with the kind and gentle director, he said I could come for a checkup every month, but if I felt any discomfort, I could call right away!
It's only been 8 days, but the swelling of my nose is going down well, and I like the shape, height, and line of my nose bridge, and I'm really satisfied!!!!
