It's been 2 weeks since I received columella skin graft and nose reconstruction surgery..!!
(Review of saving a person's life)
After three nose surgeries, the silicone protruded outward, and my nose became more and more lifted... I had a really hard time for a year because my nose became severely contracted and extremely dry.
I had severe columella recession and the columella was completely gone. I went to about 8 hospitals while looking into revision rhinoplasty, but the doctor told me that the surgery would be difficult and honestly, I was not confident... I even went to a university hospital, and after hearing about forehead flap surgery, it was really great. I was getting more and more scared... I looked up forehead flap surgery on the internet and it seemed like it would never be possible. There were places that suggested stem cell treatment, but I didn't have much faith in it and I was mentally scared of having to get multiple injections into my nose. I continued to go to consultations like that.
Then, during the consultation here, the director said that it would be difficult to do a nose reoperation right away because the skin and condition of my columella were so bad that I would have to do a columella skin graft first and then do a nose reoperation about 6 months later. I had faith in the director and went to see him because I knew he was a doctor who performed many difficult surgeries, so I trusted him and had the surgery with the thought that although it was a long time, it would be the last time.
There are so many things I want to write, I really don't know where to start, but I took a blood test and found that I was anemic, so I received iron tablets and nutritional injections with intravenous fluids before the surgery and continued to manage my condition to prepare for the columella skin transplant surgery.
I was so young that I didn't know the last time I took nutritional supplements. As I was preparing for surgery, I took nutritional supplements consistently, took good care of my body, and had columella skin transplant surgery. Ah, the skin graft was a surgery to make an incision in the skin on my back near the bra area and transplant the skin to the columella.
(The incision area is not long, about a word? It's a little small, and since it's on my back, I don't care.)
At first, I was surprised because it looked dark after receiving the skin transplant, but I was very surprised to see my skin color gradually returning after about 2 months! And after 6 months, the skin graft went well, so I had the second surgery
surgery.
After the surgery, I was really worried that it had gone well because I was wearing a splint, but on the day of the stitch removal, I went to the hospital and they removed the stitches and showed me a mirror, and they said this was my nose? I was looking in the mirror and I couldn't believe it... And I cried while holding the director's hand ㅠㅠ I cried
so much in front of the director and manager from the first consultation until now that I tried not to cry, but the day the stitches were taken out, I couldn't help but cry when I looked at my nose... I'm really thankful to the director... All I can say is thank you... I was hoping for a normal nose, but I never imagined my nose would look this pretty... ㅠㅠ He told me to follow the treatment closely as I'm still in the recovery process.
ㅠㅠ Down tape? He also taught me how to do this, so I still frequently put tape on my nose! I will work hard to recover and be careful! My family and friends around me looked at me and asked if it was you... haha. They were all surprised and said that the director was the hand of God.
I think it would have been really terrible if I had had a forehead flap surgery.. The director is really the best ㅠㅠㅠ At first, I was a little scared, but the more I saw him, the more I noticed that he was a tsundere and took good care of me like a father. I don't think you should judge people based on what they say.. haha He squeezed my acne every time I had treatment ㅠㅠ After
consistently taking the nutritional supplements you mentioned for over half a year and getting nutritional injections at the hospital, a lot of my acne disappeared and my skin got a lot better ㅠㅠㅠ He's a really good doctor. ㅠㅠㅠ
I feel like I am being compensated for all the hard times I have had. I can't fully relax yet, but I will concentrate on my recovery and take good care of it. I hope everyone succeeds, and if possible, don't touch your nose. I hope you all don't fail by checking the hospital carefully and getting the surgery.
