Before surgery,
I had my cheekbones and nose surgery done together. The reason I chose this hospital first was because I am usually very stressed about my cheekbones and face shape, but on the day I went to get my eyelashes permed, the doctor who performed my cheekbone reduction surgery, and the bone is always in Seoul. He firmly said, "I sold my handmade products in Seoul through a plastic surgery app. I live in Busan and I don't have a situation where I have to go back and forth to Seoul often for work, so I sold my handmade products diligently. In fact, I'm the type of person who doesn't even bother to sell my leg products. I looked for two places in Gangnam and there are other places. There are a lot of surgeons in the area of contouring, so I don't know who to choose, and it felt like it was random, so I had more faith in the one who did the contouring, so I chose this place.
I've had various plastic surgery + procedures, but I've always had success with my own hands, so I think the surgery here is already confirmed. And I went! Since I was going from Busan, there was a train time and a waiting time, so I couldn't have a detailed consultation with the director after consulting with the counselor, but he looked at my face and told me that it would be a good face, so I was very excited and happy. I wasn't that stressed about my nose, but these days. There are a lot of people with pretty noses and I've only had fillers for 3 times and 7 years, so I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to get them done at the same time, but after the consultation, I decided on cheekbones + nose.
The filler on my nose was a bit spread out and the bridge of my nose itself was wide, so I decided to get an osteotomy. I didn't like the feeling that the tip of my nose was blunt and the bridge of my nose was spread out, but they told me that it would shrink if I raised the tip of my nose even if I didn't have to reduce my nose, so I was glad I didn't have to do anything.
After the surgery,
I arrived an hour before the surgery and prepared for the surgery, and within a few minutes of lying down, I was immediately put under general anesthesia. I really fainted. When I opened my eyes, I was so dazed, but the last remaining doctor helped me really hard. When I lay down in the recovery room, it had been about four hours since the surgery and I was really tired. I was prepared to hear that general anesthesia would hurt my neck. I went there, but it was beyond my imagination, and I just kept thinking about holding on.
*On the day of the cheek + nose surgery - the 3rd day,
the swelling was really bad. My right eye was almost completely gone and I looked so ugly, but my face was so funny.. My
nose was also cold and bleeding . I couldn't smile or open my mouth due to the incisions made inside my mouth, and everything was a painful moment. The day after the surgery, the cotton inside my nose was removed. I didn't know that removing the cotton would be so painful, but after removing it, I was able to breathe and I was able to hold on for a while.
*Day 4 ~ A week
From this point on, I didn't need to feel any pain and it was a war against the swelling. I went for walks, took swelling medicine, drank pumpkin juice, and did the best I could. I wanted to get an injection for swelling, but I was told that it would take some time because of the nose surgery. ㅜ
I had my nose splint and stitches removed for a week, and I was really worried about my nose, but it was so pretty that I think I just took pictures all day. The nose doctor told me that the surgery went well, even though there was some bleeding during the surgery before the splint was removed, so the swelling was severe, so I was relieved. Even after removal, I really liked the line and hoped it would look natural, but I was satisfied because it looked so natural. I also had a before and after CT with the contouring doctor, and I couldn't tell because of the swelling, but I was thrilled to see that my cheekbones were really cut in half, so I sent all the CT pictures to my friends that day.
*Current ) In 4 days, it's the 4th week.
I've seen a lot of reviews from other people saying that all major swelling will go away in 2 weeks, but for me, the swelling was so severe from the beginning that I had to wait around the 3rd week to see it... I think there's still some swelling in my cheeks, so I hope it goes away quickly.
Everyone's noses are pretty. I often hear people say that they would believe it if I told them it was my nose because it looked natural. They said that my entire face looked natural haha. When I touched the cheekbones on the sides, they protruded, but I am so happy that they are straight. My nose is just pretty even without shading, so I feel like putting on makeup these days. Even if I wear a hat and go outside because of the cheekbones, I still have to wear a mask. I've never taken it off before, but now I walk around with confidence even without a mask, and since I tend to get a lot of external stress, my self-esteem has improved in many ways after the surgery!
At first, it was so hard and I thought I did it for no reason, but if I just endured it for 3 days, I think I did a good job after that.
I'm really satisfied haha.
