Today I came to have the stitches removed and
the splint taken off. It was really refreshing. I wondered if it was slightly low before taking the splint off, but it wasn't. After taking it off, they showed me in the mirror and I felt like I was sleeping, which I wanted.
My front face was still swollen so it looked a bit like an avatar. The doctor said it would fall out.
My ribs were still sore, so I laid down. When I get up, I have to stand up sideways or step on my feet, and the stitches haven't been removed yet
. This is the hardest part...my ribs hurt. The
eye lines were much neater than I expected, and the eye asymmetry was severe, but I'm so glad they weren't mismatched.
