I'm currently on the 12th day of surgery, and since the splint was removed, my nose has become more and more swollen and painful, so I went back to the hospital and they said it was a side effect of birth control pills. I'm continuing to take antibiotics and getting all the accumulated blood out with injections, and I'm suffering physically and emotionally.
Has anyone experienced the same thing??
They say that if this treatment continues, you will have to go back to the operating table to clean it and if it gets worse, the implant will have to be removed again. I am worried about contractures and scarring, so I can't help but worry.
