I had surgery 5 days ago because I had nasal congestion due to a deviated septum.
My appearance was severely asymmetrical, so I also had plastic surgery.
I arrived at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, had surgery, and was discharged at 9 a.m. on Thursday with the bandage inside my nose removed. I
was hospitalized for 3 days and 2 nights.
The first night, I felt sleepy, but my mouth was dry and I couldn't sleep. I repeated it every 3 hours and the next day wasn't any different, but I still covered my mouth with wet gauze so it seemed to be getting better. It's still the 5th day and it's still not easy to breathe through my nose.
I went for a 1.5 mile walk for about 35 minutes yesterday, and the blockage on my left side was severe. It was really odd when I felt the wind blowing into my face as I opened the front door and felt an opening that I had never felt in my life.
I'm glad I didn't have any thoughts of wanting to eat while I was hospitalized... (the thought of eating was a luxury due to physical pain)
After looking here and there (ㅅㅅㄷㄹ, ㅇㅅㄱㄹㅅ, ㅋㅇ, ㅂㄹㅂ), I decided on this place.
I'm looking forward to going to have the splint removed a week after I'm discharged.
Now I can't wash, touch, breathe properly, and I'm very frustrated, so I don't know if the surgery was successful or not.
I will remove the splint and post again.
