For reference, since it was a surgery designated by two hospital directors, there were no discounts or events, and there was no obligation to write a review, but it was such a great experience that I wanted to share it with you ^^
I live in the US and am 52 years old this year. My plastic surgery history is eye incision and tummy tuck when I was 19, botox from 45, full face fat grafting once in 2018, and nose filler twice.
Since last year, my face has drastically sagged, and the filler in my nose started to spread and go down to the tip of my nose and the columella, and it has become slightly difficult to breathe through my nose in terms of functionality… So I started searching.
Since I live abroad, I didn’t have the conditions to go to many consultations. So I decided after analyzing my own searches, before and after photos, and the directors’ careers, cases they are particularly good at, designs, tendencies, YouTube personalities, etc. to the point of being excessive. I made a decision right away without a consultation and set the surgery date via KakaoTalk.
I made the surgery reservation with Director Han online, and I consulted with KakaoTalk for necessary information or inquiries. Director Han took the trouble to answer my KakaoTalk for about a month. Every time I chatted with him, he was always kind and always helped me quickly without making me wait. I was grateful.
I arrived in Korea at 6 AM and checked in at the hospital at 9:30 AM on the same day, and went in for surgery at 11 AM.
I had a consultation with Director Jeon Yong-hoon before the surgery, and then with Director Kim Hyung-jun. Both of them were quiet, so I honestly liked them. Doctors who talk a lot, in my experience, are not so good. He only told me the facts accurately, and since it was what I wanted, I didn't need a long consultation.
Director Yoon, who was my surgery consultant, was honest and straightforward with a lot of experience. He didn't explain anything in detail, and he was really neat and professional. He was a very warm and caring person.
The nurses in the surgery room were all kind, and while I was chatting with the nurses, Director Jeon Yong-hoon came in and light anesthesia was applied. In my case, I had to have liposuction, so I didn't have deep anesthesia for the sake of my breathing safety, so I could feel the procedure, but I didn't feel any pain. They woke me up a little from the anesthesia before the nose surgery. I came back to my senses and fell into a deep sleep again when Director Kim Hyung-jun came in.
I had no pain at all after the surgery, and I saw reviews from many hospitals saying that people would bleed from their noses for a few days, but I didn't bleed at all. However, I had a lot of swelling and bruising for about 4 days, and I tend to bruise easily. From the 5th day, the area where the cast was placed was itchy and difficult. It was really itchy~ I endured it by applying a cold compress because the wound was recovering.
I have a slightly bumpy beak nose, and my nose bridge is not low. I asked for an image like Shin Se-kyung and Lee Hyo-ri, and I told them in pictures that I wanted the columella and nasolabial angle to be pretty rather than the tip of my nose. I had gotten nose filler twice, so the director opened my nose and fought with the filler. He said that my nose height was a fraud due to the filler. Haha. I had septal cartilage donation and 6mm silicone.
Since I have to go abroad soon, the dedicated nurse (the nurse who removes stitches and cotton) made sure to make regular appointments for me after the surgery so that I could visit the hospital every day to treat the swelling. Nurse Yoo is really great. She said that she became attached to me because she stamped her seal at the hospital every day…
On the 7th day, the cast was finally removed… I was really surprised. To be honest, the lines and height were so perfect that it exceeded my expectations, no, there was nothing that bothered me. And Director Jeon Yong-hoon as well… There was no bruising or pain in the area where the liposuction was done, and the facial angle where the fat was redistributed was really refined and younger. In particular, the jawline, fat under the eyes, and nasolabial folds… I was reborn.
But… that joy was short-lived… Director Kim Hyung-jun touched my forehead and said that there was a little bit of pus, and that it would go away to this extent, but let’s take it out anyway. Then, gasp… In an instant, he came in front of me with a syringe and took it out right away… I said that this day was the most painful during the 7 days after the surgery… It hurts so, so much. There was no swelling at all in my opinion, but it seemed like it was on the director’s radar. In the end, the cast was put on again for 2 days… I had made a schedule to meet my friends before leaving, but I ended up going out with the cast on. What was even funnier was that my friends were going crazy saying that I looked so pretty after I went out with the cast on… When I took the cast off and went out, they almost died.
Two days later, the director took the cast off and said, “It’s time to take the cast off~” I’m so happy. In the 9 days since the surgery, the director looked at my nose a total of 5 times, and even though there were no particular problems, he would pass by and pick my nose to check, and then pass by… Director Jeon Yong-hoon knew that I was leaving Korea the day before, so he made time for me without a separate appointment and reconfirmed my provincial placement.
I’m currently back in the US and enjoying my daily life.
