At first, it was done with silicone, but the silicone bent to the side, so I had to re-surgery by mincing and inserting the temporal fascia and ear cartilage. I was also a student when I had the reoperation, and I don't think I had any thoughts of having it removed at the time. When I think about it now, that was my chance to just remove the silicone and go back to being a natural person. But I was obsessed with having to re-surgery to fill in the bridge of my nose, so I ended up having it done at a university hospital. However, since this is ear cartilage, the amount is not enough, so it does not spread out evenly and remains bumpy. It is not noticeable at all at first glance, but if you take a picture in natural light or in front of strong lighting, it is noticeable because of the uneven shadows in the picture.
