I had surgery in April of last year, so a year and three months have already passed.
Looking back, I feel like I have become mentally free after having surgery on my hooked nose, which had been a source of stress for my entire life.
I was stressed out just by someone looking at me next to me, and
my self-confidence was so low that I felt offended even when people complimented me on my high nose.
Now, I'm not even conscious of my nose at all.
I want to recommend it to people who live under stress like me.
It's been a while since I wrote anything.
I have a thin and high nose bridge, so I did not cut it but just ground it.
The tip of the nose was operated on using a cartilage relocation method, so no additions were made and only my nose was operated on.
Since correcting my complex was more important to me than flashy style,
I first looked for a place that would give me a natural look without implants!
I also have rhinitis, although it's not usually severe, and
I also have a deviated septum, so I looked for a place where I could do the same.
(Actual expenses can also be covered for the deviated septum area.)
The place where I had surgery was not a large hospital,
but the 1:1 care they provided was reassuring and very nice.
It was a place where
the doctor took care of everything, including surgery and post-surgery treatment
. (The hardest thing for me was blocking my nose with cotton after the surgery, but
when I got home I felt dizzy and called the doctor.
It's funny now that I think about it, but I thought it was serious at the time... ㅠㅋ
I don't think any hospital will contact the doctor directly if something happens, but
one by one . I'm glad you cared about me)
There are a lot of surrogate surgeries these days, so I was really scared when I was looking into surgery.
I can't carelessly entrust
my small nose to someone who isn't a specialist
... ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ The hospital I worked at was completely sleep-free, so
I was able to talk to the doctor during the surgery.
I didn't have to worry about the doctor changing. It was good.....
The surgery was performed in a comfortable atmosphere with music playing during the surgery, and
what was even better was that before suturing (when the beak was almost completely ground?),
I had a guardian come into the operating room and see the shape of my nose with me. So
actually, I said, ‘Please change this part more..’ and he did it. Haha.
And since the guardian also watched it together, I was able to see it more objectively!
Well, I'm an office worker, so I took 6 days off from work and
took 10 days off, including weekends, before going to work.
After I took off the splint, there was a yellow bruise, so I covered it with concealer,
but I guess my bruises went away a little quickly...
No one recognized me
except the person who told me I was having surgery in advance
. Haha. Everyone said it was so natural that I didn't even know they did it haha.
It's been a while . If you don't tell your friends, they won't know at all.
I was very satisfied because it was the response I wanted.
And you probably know people who have curved noses when taking pictures.
It's noticeable not only from the side but also from the front ㅠㅠ
But now my nose has become smoother from the front as well, so I feel more confident.
I should have done it sooner haha.
If you want a natural hooked nose surgery, I recommend it!
