It's been 2 months since I had revision surgery for my contracted nose using autologous dermis! Almost two years after my first surgery, I had severe contractures, so I had the silicone removed. As those of you who have contractures know, removing the silicone does not return your nose to its original shape. Should I call it a slim nose, a nose with a built-up nose and a reduced nose? Anyway, it was a nose that showed side effects. After the first surgery, I think I lived with distrust and fear of repeat surgery for more than two years due to side effects. I was just living with a contracted nose, and then I saw a picture someone had taken of me... and that's when I decided I needed to get surgery. Because my nose is ugly, I lose confidence in my appearanceㅠㅠ Because I hate my upturned nose, I never take pictures from the side and always take pictures of the front, but now that I've had surgery, I can take pictures of both the side and the front. After the surgery, I gained weight because I ate a lot and couldn't exercise, but now that I'm confident in my nose, I've gotten better at taking pictures. First of all, at the plastic surgery clinic I went to on the spring day, Dr. Seong-jung personally gave me all the consultations. He has a lot of experience with reconstructive rhinoplasty surgery, and when I went for a consultation, he explained my dermis and the shape of my nose in great detail, and the fact that he only performs surgery on one person a day increased my trust. I had surgery on July 27th. I think it started at 10 am and ended around 6 pm. It took almost 8 hours, but since I had severe contractures, they cut it all off one by one. I could hear all the sounds, but rather than being scared, I felt a sense of pleasure that the contracture was finally going away. I had a case of contracture where the silicone was sticking out of one side of my nostril, so one nostril was long and the other was round. It's a shame I didn't take a picture of my nose because I don't like taking pictures of it. They also used the cartilage from my right ear to correct the misalignment and reshape my crooked nose. I don't have a low forehead and I want a natural nose, so I usually do self-dermal treatment in 3 layers, but I used 2 layers. When I removed the contracture, my nose collapsed, so I had no choice but to put in my own dermis. Still, it was nice that the doctor looked at my nose before surgery and kindly asked me to choose self-dermal dermal treatment if I felt it was okay. It seemed like they listened to my opinion a lot without forcing the surgery. So the surgery went well. but! Autologous dermal treatment is the real thing after surgery. This is because the nose shape is made higher than the original shape considering the time it takes for the autologous dermis to be absorbed into the skin, so there is an avatar period for a while. I was worried about this because I have a job where I meet people, but I decided to be proud of the surgery and told her to look at the surgery, imagining how she would become prettier. Until the 3rd week, it wasn't very noticeable when viewed from the front, but when viewed from the side, it was like an avatar character. But when one month passed, I looked in the mirror and suddenly my skin had completely disappeared. When it doesn't fall out, I'm worried because it won't fall out, and when it falls out, I worry that my nose will disappear like this... It's absorbed differently for everyone, so I can't say for sure when it will settle down, but for me, it felt natural from the first month. I took a lot of selfies at that time. I also took a lot of side pictures that I had never taken before! I almost forgot, but another difficulty with autologous dermis is the buttock surgery area. I was able to do exercises like squats when I was a month and a half old, but before that, I was careful about sleeping and walking and was uncomfortable due to the pain. But now, in the second month, I am moving around very comfortably. Of course, I had to go to a dermatologist separately because I had keloids, but the wound healed very well. I don’t know why I went through all the unnecessary trouble and didn’t have the surgery again. If I had done it in advance, I could have been more confident when meeting people... I feel so sorry for the time I spent curling up and thinking I was ugly. For those who have had silicone construction, I highly recommend reoperation with autologous dermis. Just pretend you're being fooled and get some counseling.
