Hello, I'm writing a review after getting surgery because my nose was stressed. It's been 4 days now . 1. Surgery, hospital, cost I went to a hospital that I searched for myself . It's not a famous place here, but I went to the one I liked the most after going to all the consultations. The cost was about 800,000 won. VAT is not included. There was no separate discount or anything. It took about 30 minutes, and if you include the preparation time, it took about 40 minutes. It was done under local anesthesia. First of all, there was zero pain - it wasn't painful at all. If it was difficult, it was a little difficult because of the smell of disinfectant, and it was frustrating not being able to breathe through my nose, but it was bearable because it was a short time. I think it's possible to do it under local anesthesia. 2. Swelling This is the most shocking part. All hospitals talk about a recovery period of one or two days, but that's absolutely not true. The hospital where I had surgery didn't mention swelling, but they said it wasn't a difficult process. I don't have a special constitution, but it really swells up a lot... Since it's tearing the flesh, it's no different from other surgeries. It's just that the surgery process is easy, but I think you should be prepared for the recovery period. Those who expected there to be no swelling like me will be so surprised, heartbroken, and anxious. If only they had realized that the swelling was severe, it wouldn't have been this hard..... I almost couldn't sleep because I was crying until yesterday. It's so swollen and ugly ㅠㅠ Since they only cut the wings of the nostrils and didn't touch the bridge of my nose, my nostrils swelled up more than the bridge of my nose so much that at first I thought... this was totally... ruined. I regretted it so much that I now understand why people are prescribed tranquilizers after surgery, and I swore I would never get a knife on my face again. My nose grew exactly 2-3 times bigger, but only the nostrils grew bigger and my philtrum and cheeks swelled. It was more abnormally swollen than a regular rhinoplasty. I was so shocked because I looked so ugly. I wondered if it would just continue like this. Someone once said that swelling and beauty are separate things, so I think I was more scared by those words. ㅠㅠ My heart still races when I think about that time . 3. Satisfaction so far: I can finally see the swelling going down a little today. I just diligently used compresses and didn't eat too salty food. I didn't make any special efforts. I'm satisfied for now . My face had really droopy nose wings... In fact, releasing the nose bridge itself wouldn't be suitable for raising my nose, and it might even make it worse. Some hospitals recommended surgery, but in my opinion, my nose bridge and such are not low, so if it got higher, it would look even weirder and the drooping nose wings would get worse. Of course, I'll have to see how the swelling goes down to find out, but my nose used to be long, but it's gotten a little shorter, so I think it has the effect of making the middle of my face look shorter. My face looks smaller than before (Is it because my nose got bigger because it was swollen..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ) And I think my side profile has really improved a lot. I've always been disappointed with my side profile and my nose looking saggy, but it's not a huge change, but I'm satisfied because the overall balance has improved . Of course, there hasn't been a huge change . To be honest, it's not that other people don't know, ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I don't think they'll notice at all. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It feels like my complex that only I know has disappeared . But isn't plastic surgery something that's more about my satisfaction than anyone else? If that's the case, then I'd like to say that I'm satisfied. I think people who had a lot of sagging noses like me will be somewhat satisfied. I'm still fighting the swelling, but.. It's strange that there's no swelling on the 4th or 5th day..ㅜㅜ It'll go down, right..? Just keep the swelling in mind. Of course, looking at the comments below, there are people who didn't get swollen. I'm so jealous..... ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ If it continues like this, I think my satisfaction will go up even more. I 'm going to have my stitches removed next week and I'll write another review in about 2 weeks. **My satisfaction with the hospital is high . The director and the nurses aren't incredibly kind, but I actually like them to be just an appropriate amount of kindness rather than being overly kind, so it wasn't bad and overall, they guided me well. I think I liked the way the doctor explained things and how he considered the patient's opinions in various ways. Since I have a very strong personality, people who push me forward don't really get along with me ㅠ I guess it's because my opinion is so strong..ㅋㅋㅋ That's why a place that understands my complexes was the best for me. Oh, of course, I don't think this surgery is that big of a deal, so I think it'll be similar no matter where you're looking into...ㅋㅋ The swelling is the problem..ㅠㅠ That's why I didn't write the name of the hospital, but if you're curious, feel free to ask.
