--------------------- The content of the post will be edited and added at 11:30 am on 2017.01.06. --------------------- I have been bothered by some absurd comments over the past few days, so I am deleting the information about the hospital where I had surgery and editing the post itself. (I deleted the post about the surgery hospital right before the previous surgery because it is difficult to edit.) I didn't write this to listen to people talk about brokers and such, but it's true that it's annoying to be attacked like that. I got to know Seongpimo through Seongyesa and received a lot of help from both places. (I said I received help, and as soon as I signed up, they said again that they were talking about a specific hospital. I am a man and a married man. I have been getting information using my wife's ID. But I can't even leave a message using my wife's ID. So, I signed up under my name and wrote nothing. However, this also seems to have caused a misunderstanding. From my point of view, it's quite absurd, but I'm going to move on with the thought that I could have thought that way.) I got information from here and there, visited other hospitals, and had nose surgery without implants, and I'm still unable to come to a conclusion. It feels a bit early, but I really like the function and design compared to my previous nose, so I enjoyed each day and gained a lot of confidence. From now on, management is important, so I am getting help by reading the writings of Seongpimo and Seongyesa to monitor changes in my nose. I will continue to come in to ask questions about the condition of my nose and give any advice I can. However, they are saying that they will stop working after the surgery goes well. Well, there are people like that. However, I don't think people who care so much about themselves like me realize that they will be active from time to time. Seeing only one or two things and rushing in with confidence, it doesn't seem to be any different from arguing over whether someone is a leftist or not in politics. If I had received money from the hospital, it wouldn't be unfair, but... I feel quite bad that people looked at me like that just because I wrote something in a happy and excited state every day . Anyway, I will delete the information about the hospital where I received the surgery and the photos before and after the surgery. I said I would keep it short, but I got so excited that it ended up being a bit long. We will remove all parts that may cause misunderstanding. ----------------------- Photos added as of 2016. 12. 23 16:00 --------------- ----- Photos are released. Hahaha, I covered my eyes because it was in the center of my nose hahaha. The first is a 3D CT image showing that my nasal bone is very curved, and the director is surprised every time he looks at it . The second is a sketch and selfie from a photo taken on the day of surgery. The third is after going out a little while ago. This is a picture I took in the elevator on the way home. I had eye and nose surgery... I'm not the type of person who has a clear before and after... but I definitely look better after having it done haha. Anyway, I'm glad that everything went well. From now on, I'm going to focus on managing the side effects to avoid any side effects. Can you move this to the bottom of the photo? I'm sorry it's at the top ㅠㅠ ---------------------------- Day 7 was added to the original post below -------- ---------------------- I did some research before the surgery, but since there was no place that properly explained the discomfort I experienced after the surgery, I wrote it down on Zoom. (This is not about the side effects, but the process that everyone experiences during septal surgery after the surgery.) Before the surgery, I was anxious that table death might happen to me as well. I applied for insurance that would pay out 200 million won in case of death 15 days before the surgery. I signed up for an additional 100 million won 4 years ago and prepared for a total of 300 million won to be paid to my family in the event of my death. I notified the insurance company of all details about the surgery. However, the insurance company was more concerned about suicide than the surgery. They had not yet paid all of the suicide insurance premiums. Once again, I realized that the Financial Supervisory Service was putting pressure on me as one of the three most vicious insurance companies . The insurance company requested a withholding tax receipt and proof of employment. Luckily, I was carefully told that there would be no rejection since I was an employee of a large company. The registration process was completed 4-5 days before the surgery. Final approved. I took 15 days of sick leave from the company. Out of the paid expenses, 3.5 million won and the entire test cost are 100% actual expenses. I confirmed with the insurance company and decided on surgery. Days 1 to 6 of nose surgery. ▶ 2016.12.16 Pay the surgery fee by credit card before entering the hospital room on the day of surgery. . To build credit card performance, I paid for 1 million won, 1 million won, and the rest, splitting the payment into 3 credit cards. 14:30 incision eye surgery - sedation anesthesia Suddenly, I found myself traveling through cities in single-color graphic images of London, Paris, Rome, the Czech Republic, New York, Chicago, and San Francisco, at 2-3 second intervals like a movie jump. Then, I saw white. I stopped in the city, opened my eyes, and found myself in an operating room (hallucinations due to sedative anesthesia haha) I opened and closed my eyes, closed them on both sides, and fell asleep again. When I came to, I was in the hospital room~ And then immediately moved back to the operating room~ 16:00 General anesthesia rhinoplasty for nasal septum deviation + severe septum. Rhinitis + chronic nasal congestion + hooked nose + low front nose + arrow nose + long nose & big nose. The nurse said, “Tie your arms and legs and don’t be alarmed.” Which hand do you use when answering the phone? After telling me where to use my ear cartilage - I do a lot of talking on my left side, so I asked to use my right side, and I'll put on an oxygen mask for you . When I opened my eyes, I found myself lying in the hospital room, and the sun had set outside the window and it was dark as if it had been a long time. It was about 7 PM. I remember, there was no pain, tingling or any other feeling in my eyes or nose . It really doesn't even feel like I'm being pricked by a needle. When I lightly touched it , I felt that my senses were still alive and that it wouldn't hurt because of the painkillers (I was amazed for a moment, thinking that medical technology has improved a lot these days haha), but I felt that my body was very tired and worn out. As soon as I opened my eyes, I sent a KakaoTalk message to my family telling them that I was okay, and then fell asleep. From then on, my eyes didn't feel like I had surgery at all . Even to this day, I was startled when I looked in the mirror. My eyes got so big and cool~~~ Haha. But my nose suffered every day, Friday, the day of the surgery. It was very difficult at first to have to keep a cotton ball in my nose and breathe while speaking and eating . I expected the cotton ball to be removed before I was discharged on Saturday morning, but the doctor told me that I would have to have rhinitis surgery to block it further. When I got home, I had to remove my cell phone, TV, etc. I can't do anything with my laptop. If I look at it for about 30 minutes, my eyes get tired quickly. I thought this was the story about my eyes getting bigger and dazzling and getting very tired. I ended up sleeping all the time. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday until morning. If I sleep for about 2 hours, my throat gets really sore. I went in and woke up, drank a sip of water in the tumbler, and fell asleep again, repeating this process for about 60 hours. At this point, I was able to talk, eat, and breathe well. I realized once again that humans are creatures of adaptation. ▶ I will be the first patient on Monday morning, the third day after surgery. I got ready, put my glasses on the splint, and drove to the hospital! Finally got rid of the cotton!!! But the joy only lasts for a moment~~~~ ㅠㅠ A new runny nose strikes back! Mountain after mountain!!! ㅜㅜ I remember the message that was given to me when I was discharged from the hospital that I should not blow my nose for 2-3 months. I have a runny nose like a kid in my childhood. A dark, sticky nose mixed with blood and fluid~ In addition to the nasal septum, I cleaned out the inside of my nose so I could get more. I heard that it can fly ▶ On the 4th day of surgery, the runny nose that keeps dripping down is uncomfortable and bothersome, so I want to dig out the inside of my nose . I understand that they say never to wipe it off with a cotton swab, but I really want to scrape it all out ㅜㅜ But I'm afraid of inflammation and contractures. I went to the pharmacy below the apartment with my eyes and bought 10,000 won worth of gauze and 3M skin color tape. I was asked if I had left in that condition. I folded the gauze and put it under my nose, and it got better. I couldn't see it running and there was just a little bit of runny nose. As it gets absorbed and I no longer see the snot running down my face when I look in the mirror, the urge to wipe it off subsides. However, my family said it was a very ugly thing to do, but I had no choice because I had to live. ▶ On the 5th day of surgery, I took a selfie every morning. The swelling in my eyes was going down. I can see that most of the bruising has disappeared, but when I wake up in the morning, the nasal mucus that has stopped starts flowing again. I put a gauze on it, start eating in the morning, and take the medicine. To take the medicine 3 times a day at 8-hour intervals, I take the medicine after a meal at 8 a.m. and take the medicine at lunch . I eat at 12 o'clock, eat at 4 p.m., take medicine, eat at 7 o'clock in the evening, eat at 12 o'clock, take medicine, and sleep. Take the medicine in this form for up to 8 hours. ▶ On the 6th day after surgery, a decrease in the amount of thick nasal mucus is visible. I keep gauze on my nose and change it every 2-3 hours. I noticed that there was only a little bit of it on my nose. I feel good because I expect the runny nose to go away in the next week or so. So far, my eyes seem to be in good shape, and although I can only see them slightly due to the splint, my family says my nose seems to be fine as well. ▶ On the 7th day of surgery (today lol), I went to the hospital in the morning and had the eye and nose stitches removed. I purchased special titanium glasses called Dr. Nose glasses in advance and removed the splint. I have been using these glasses since. It's light, but the egg is so small that it's a bit funny. Anyway, I got my eye stitches removed in the hospital's treatment room and accidentally received treatment from Dr. Noon. I woke up after calling two people by name, but I had to go to the treatment room... and the other person went to see Dr. Noon. I have to go... but people have changed ㅡㅡ;;; Thanks to you, I met with the eye doctor and he gave me an injection to reduce the swelling in my right eye because it wasn't going down well. I have to go on a trip next week, so I went to see Dr. Ko and got a prescription for medicine to take in case of an emergency. And a day before departure, we decided to remove the sillast that prevents the nasal septum from bending. (When I got home, I looked up the medicine I received today, and it was not an inflammation medicine, but a week's worth of medicine to reduce swelling.) For your information, this is the first time in my life that I've felt this, but I was shocked that my nostrils were slightly visible when I looked in the mirror. Until last week, I couldn't see my nostrils when I looked in the mirror. Because I knew it was a hidden place that could only be seen if you looked ~~~~ Haha, I will manage it thoroughly from now on~! ^^
