Surgery with donor costal cartilage.

The stress on my nose was so severe that I decided to undergo revision surgery. I want to live as much as I can, but because of the shape, I was really suffering and decided to have surgery again, but I don't have a septum. However, I heard that the donated costal cartilage is absorbed after 2-3 years, and the height of the nose raised by the support is much lower. Is that true?
