Feeling the tip of your nose?

Among those who had closed nose surgery, those who had no or dull sensation in the tip of their nose after the surgery... At some point, the sensation in the tip of their nose returned to the point where it felt like it was their own skin when touched. What were the symptoms like? It's been just over two months since I had the ear cartilage tied at the tip of my nose removed 11 days later, and since the first surgery, I've had numbness in my right nostril. At first, I don't think I noticed it when I touched it... but now I know it when I touch it, but it feels like I'm touching someone else's skin. If you press it with a needle or fingernail, it feels painful.
