I have to go 2 hours and 30 minutes by subway and bus right after my nose surgery... because it's far from home.

I will be under sedation and have autologous cartilage done on the bridge of my nose and the tip of my nose. I heard that I will not feel well after the surgery. I usually do not feel well , but will I be able to take the subway and bus for more than two hours right after the surgery ? Or would it be much better if I went to an inn near the hospital for the first day, rested, received treatment the next day, and then went home ? Those of you who have had surgery, please leave your comments.
