*Pre-surgery nose condition
: My nose bridge is high, but my nostrils are wide and my nose tip is droopy. I wanted to improve that, which makes it look like a bulbous nose when viewed from the front and droopy when viewed from the side, so I had the surgery.
*Surgery details:
Raising the nose tip using septal cartilage, tying the nasal wing cartilage, correcting the bulbous nose, and inserting silicone. The exact mm number was not set, and I asked them to put it in to fit the tip of my nose.
*Surgery preferences
include natural/gorgeous/self-assured, but even with rhinoplasty, the improvement from the side is greater than the improvement from the front, and I wanted to improve my appearance from the front as well, so I showed them reference photos where my nose tip looked lifted or undesirable and asked them to raise my nose tip as flashily as possible without causing that situation. Also, because the nose tip may droop as time passes after the surgery, I asked them to do it flashily.
*Surgery period
: End of October 23 (8 months have passed as of now)
*Things to note after the surgery
1. Symmetrical nostril shapes are impossible. - It was originally asymmetrical, but it looks even worse when the tip of the nose is raised, and when you have surgery, you get stressed because you put a lot of nerves on your nose, but I think it would be better to just let it go and enjoy looking at the side of your nose and the improved front view.
2. Deviated columella. - When you have nose surgery, the swelling on the left and right nostrils doesn't go down at the same time, so the swelling on the left side remains, and the swelling on the right side goes down, so you often feel that the columella is bent. Many friends and family around you say that the columella looks bent when they look at it, but I think you can only see that situation after 3 months. After 3 months, the swelling on both sides went down, so I didn't really think it was bent.
3. Discomfort. - No matter what you do, whether it's when you sleep or exercise, your nose comes to mind first. If you hurt your nose, you have to have surgery again, and the recovery period is uncomfortable, so you can't ignore that part. You can't sleep face down or anything, and you have to always be conscious of your nose not being pressed. But since I am satisfied with my nose, this inconvenience does not feel like a big deal.
*
It is not too late to think about it for
a long time and get it done, so even if you think you need rhinoplasty, it is better to do it yourself after researching it well. Even when consulting with the doctor or the head of the consultation room, if you do not know the name of the nose or the surgical method, no matter how kindly they explain it these days,
you cannot shake off your anxiety, so it would be better to study well on your own.
I hope that everyone will do their best and receive a pretty and wonderful surgery from a good director~
