It's been about a month since I received nose surgery from Dr. Kim Da-aim of Obli Plastic Surgery!
I always thought about nose surgery because my nose is small and low, but after consulting at 4 to 5 hospitals, I finally chose Oubly Plastic Surgery.
Actually, I had initially made an appointment at another plastic surgery clinic, but after receiving a consultation at Obly, I was moved to cancel my previous hospital appointment and made an appointment at Obly.
The reason I changed hospitals was because both the counseling director and the director were very kind, the director was full of confidence, and the realistic and customized counseling content.
There are some hospitals that require the use of ribs because my nasal septum is small. When I asked about this, the director said that it was possible to use the nasal septum and ear cartilage.
They said that the nasal septum was not touched much during the actual surgery, so concerns about the side effect of the nose collapsing were reduced.
During the consultation, he told me that he couldn't raise it much because my nose is small and my skin doesn't stretch well, and showed me how much he could do with a cotton swab.
Also, I believed it more after seeing that there was a risk of side effects if I raised it any higher, and considering my face shape, it would not be a good idea to raise it too high.
I liked that they kept asking and confirming the line I wanted and trying to shape it to resemble that line.
I printed out the photos I wanted on the day of surgery, and he said he would put them up in the operating room and refer to them during the surgery!
I was very grateful to the doctors in the operating room who kindly explained each step and reassured me, and I think the surgery went well.
Since I was very swollen and had a hard time getting rid of the swelling, I was very worried about my nose line at first, and the swelling seemed to continue to be severe, making it difficult for me to go about my daily life, so I told her that I wanted to get a swelling injection, but the injection would be too strong. He said it would be better to prescribe oral medication, so I was prescribed additional medication.
The fact that they were careful about every swelling injection and recommended prescription medication according to my situation made me trust them more, and I felt like this was a hospital that truly pursued safety.
Before two weeks, I was worried that I had ruined it because it felt too avatar-like and the tip of my nose was low. However, after two weeks, the swelling had gone down a lot compared to the beginning, and
after three weeks, the forehead and bridge of the nose were lowered, and my nose line was restored, and the tip of my nose, which had looked low, was much better. It looked like it was going up.
In conclusion, although there is still a lot of puffiness on my nose, I am satisfied and I want to keep my nose high like this!
