Review of the 3rd week of double nose surgery
Today is exactly the 3rd week since I
had the tip of my nose + alar cheeks reduction + correction of my nose. I will write about what I felt during that time. In the first week (day 7), the splint and stitches were removed. There was some minor swelling and bruising between the eyebrows ( (It hurt when I pressed it) The tip of my nose and the bridge of my nose looked big and round because the swelling had gone down less, and the dark circles looked worse because of the bruises. I ate whatever I wanted, but I didn't eat anything that was too salty, spicy, or irritating.
By the 2nd week (14th day), all the bruises had gone, and even if I pressed on the forehead. It didn't hurt. The swelling in the nostrils and tip of the nose went down a lot, and the round nose began to show boundaries. The shape of the nostrils also changed to something I liked more. They told me to avoid drinking for a month or two, but I couldn't stand it and on the 10th day. I drank one or two beers, but fortunately, there was no problem. (You should never drink alcohol based solely on my reviews!!) The tip of my nose felt heavy and hard.
Week 3 (Day 21) Today, when I looked at it, the skin looked swollen and thick, but it has now returned to normal and the incision site appears to have cleared up. It has healed a lot, but the inside of my nose continues to have crusts. I think it will take a little longer for it to heal completely.
The bridge of my nose was also reduced nicely to match the front of my eyes, and the front of my eyes felt very, very slightly pulled in, perhaps because of the tip of my nose. Even the eyes look clear. I went for a natural look, so people around me don't notice it lol, but I'm very satisfied. I'm so glad I don't have to put effort on my nose now when I correct or apply makeup.
