Hello! Last July, I posted a review of low nose ear cartilage and tip surgery at Goksam. I only touched the tip of the nose with the ear cartilage and did not touch the bridge of the nose or the hook.
There were very few first-time reviews for this hospital, and there were a lot of people asking
about the follow-up, so I decided to leave a review 200 days after the surgery. 1. Satisfaction with the overall surgery.
I had the surgery in early July last year, so about half a year and a month has passed.
Photo The photos are 45 degrees, side and front, respectively, and were taken with a phone camera without makeup or Photoshop..!
First of all, if I had to explain my satisfaction level, I would say it is 101% (haha).
First of all, what I am most satisfied with is that it has a natural appearance without any signs of surgery!
From the time I consulted with the director, when others looked at me, they asked, “Did you have surgery..?” I got a lot of sympathy from the people who said that the nose surgery was a good one, which was met with mixed reactions like "Oh, you've lost weight!", and
the surgery was done exactly to that effect.
My family all tell me that my nose surgery went really well, and
even my friends who have seen me for a long time say that if I don't tell them first, they don't know what's changed when you
become so pretty. When I tell them that I had my nose surgery, that's when they respond by saying, "It went really well!"
When I take selfies, my nose is It was amazing to see such a dramatic change in the side line.
2. What specifically has changed?
2-1. Side profile line
: Originally, I had a very weak hook on the bridge of my nose, the tip of my nose was sunken, the cartilage was poor, and the bridge of my nose was pinched.
If you look at it from the side, it feels like the bridge of your nose is
soft and then disappears at the tip. It looks like it's hooked, but it's very weak, so in fact, the tip of your nose is saggy like the old Iyuko hahahahahaha... It was such a small and ugly nose (see the first post for the photo). I
had left the bridge of my nose still and only the tip of my nose changed from before. I was thinking of raising it slightly along the line, but it seems to have turned out exactly as I wanted.
What I like the most is that the hooked beak was not touched..!
As you can see in the 45 degree, side photo, there is a very slight beak left in the middle of the nose line, which seems to create a natural and sharp nose shape.
During the consultation, other hospitals suggested that I slightly change the hooked beak because of the asymmetry (of course, they said that they don't have to change it if they want because they are famous for natural hair), but
I didn't want to ruin the natural bridge of the nose, so I liked the curved nose the most, which was to leave the hooked beak alone from the beginning. .
In fact, the originally high nose line is not smooth and has a slightly hooked nose, but when I heard the reactions of those around me after the surgery, they said that it looked exactly like my original nose, perhaps because the hooked beak was left behind.
2-2. From the
frontal
consultation, they said there wouldn't be much change in the frontal area , but there were actually more changes than expected after the surgery.
First of all, my nose was originally very small, so the size of my nose wasn't very wide,
but as the height of the tip of my nose increased, I felt like my nose was getting thinner.
Also, the nostrils were originally shaped as if they were pinched, so the bridge of the nose was slightly emphasized, but that part was made more voluminous, so the nose after the surgery looks more like before the surgery. It has that feeling hahaha
2-3. Since the procedure was performed with an open scar under the nose
, it is inevitable that a scar will remain on the columella side haha..
However, unless you lay me down and look closely, you can't see the scar,
there is no redness, and the scar is almost symmetrical and straight.
I didn't post a picture of the nostrils, but they are very symmetrical!
2-4. Off after surgery
Usually, if you like the shape of your nose after surgery, they say the surgery was a failure..?
Actually.. I liked the shape of my nose so much on the first day that I was worried that it would become even more saggy, but
as you can see from the pictures, it was less saggy than I thought..!
As the swelling on the side line went down, the curved line became slightly exposed, but it
was what I wanted, so I am very satisfied. Perhaps because
the surgery was done delicately, there was almost no swelling from the beginning.
After the surgery, there was some minor swelling that was visible from the front, but now, half a year later, it is not there. All the minor swelling has gone away, so this seems to be the final result.
3. Are your ears okay?
Among the reviews of this hospital, there was a review that said the earphones kept falling out because the ear cartilage was removed from the front, but
in conclusion, it seems like there is no problem in about 90% of cases!
I had a lot of cartilage harvested from my left ear and only a little bit from my right ear, but
200 days after the surgery, I can feel the shape of the cartilage in both ears being slightly different.
Especially when I'm running fast, the left ear earphone sometimes falls out
(for reference, I'm using Buds Pro 2)
, but it's never fallen out when I'm just going about my daily life and walking around. I'm using the earphone well~ So don't worry too much!
There is an incision scar, but since the incision is made along the ear cartilage line, it doesn't seem to be visible to others.
4. What is the director's aesthetic sense?
I don't think I can pinpoint this because each person's aesthetic sense is different.
People who want a fancy nose may wonder, "What's the point
of having a small surgery at that cost?
What's the good of having a bumpy nose line because of the hooked nose?" But for people like me who want a natural, primordial nose, the director's aesthetic sense is enough. It seems trustworthy.
There was also someone who asked whether to make it longer or shorter, but
from the pictures of problematic nose revision surgery I saw during the consultation + from my personal experience, I think they just remove it to an amount that suits the balance of each person's face.
(This was similar to other hospitals I went to for consultations)
Everyone's face is different, and a nose that suits one person well may not suit another person.
5. This is my first move, will it be okay?
Yes, I highly recommend it.
Since this is a very famous place for reoperations,
how about a first move? There are a lot of concerns, but I think the first surgery is okay.
The reason why reoperations are famous is because they take good care of problematic and difficult noses, so I decided to have the surgery with the thought that the first surgery would do well.
The most important thing is whether you can trust the hospital. ,
I liked the fact that this is a one-person hospital, the nurses and the director were very honest, and most of all, they took a very conservative approach.
As I wrote in my previous post, I had a pimple on my nose, so the surgery was postponed for a week. It wasn't acne, it was just a whitehead, but I thought it was a trustworthy hospital after seeing that they postponed it because of the risk of infection.
Post-surgery treatment was more frequent than other hospital reviews, and he was very thorough when checking the progress periodically.
After the surgery, I feel very grateful that I was able to complete my first surgery at a more trustworthy hospital.
However, only this hospital is really good in this area!! That's not true.
I actually had a lot of trouble deciding between the two final candidates, but
I think I chose it intuitively after seeing the fit between me and the director.
If there is a better fit among other good hospitals, Yesa is a good fit for that hospital, so
I hope you choose well by considering various information and your own experiences.
6. Other things that come to mind:
I only looked for ear cartilage and the tip of the nose when I was selling my hands, so I don't know much about techniques such as shield transplantation and rotary incision transplantation.
In fact, I only know that the columella was erected using ear cartilage and cartilage realignment was performed (the nasal septum and other things were not touched at all), but I am not sure exactly what surgical method was used.
In fact, since I am not a medical professional, there was a part of me that thought that asking questions about the technique one by one would not lead to anything, and
in fact, it seems that I achieved satisfactory results just by agreeing and explaining the scope, materials, and approximate method of the surgery.
Of course, if you ask the director about that, I think he will answer kindly, but I have left the detailed method as part of the trust between doctor and patient, so I hope you can refer to it!
Oh, and the nose is about the size of a pig, and when you touch the tip of the nose, it becomes soft and bends well.
I hope everyone has a successful surgery to make their precious faces beautiful!
