I had surgery during the week last week and will write a review after a while. The exact day of the week I had the surgery will be kept secret due to privacy reasons... First, I will describe my nose. It is not too severe, but rather a bulbous nose (one or two hospitals said it was not a bulbous nose during the consultation, but each doctor has a different opinion...). The tip of the nose is pressed in (feels like a saddle nose), and it is a moderately large nose. (I'm a man.) Maybe it's because of the bulbous nose, but the bridge of my nose is not that low, and I'm not greedy for a high bridge of my nose, so I didn't get my nose bridge or the beak shaved. The tip of my nose and the sunken part of the bridge? were filled with ear cartilage (autologous cartilage) for the first time without prosthetics. The cost is 4.4 million won. There is no discount, and I think the cost is the same for each surgery. It's the same surgery, but there doesn't seem to be a difference in who gets it cheap or expensive (I don't know if it's expensive if you get implants like silicone. Let's talk ). They said the surgery takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours . Oh, and the director said that if you just shave it because you have a beak, it might make your nose look blunt and low (I think that's why other hospitals say to shave it and put silicone in). I was originally not going to get it shaved... Anyway, for those with a beak, take note of the 300,000 won deposit 2 weeks before the surgery and pay the balance on the day of the surgery. They told me to come by 9 AM. So 8:56? At this time, as soon as I arrived, I went to the director's office and filled out a questionnaire about whether I had any underlying conditions, whether I was taking any medications, and had anesthesia experience, as well as a consent form for rhinoplasty. After filling out all of them, I paid the balance right at the director's office, went to the powder room, changed into surgical clothes (like a gown), washed my face, gargled, took out my contact lenses, laid down on the surgical table, and the nurses set it up. At this time, the director came and touched my nose and shined a fresh light on it (the height of the surgical table? The shape? The settings are the same). It didn't even take me 20 minutes to get there. Then, I went with a guardian, and there was a small recovery room for private use, and the guardian could use it. I haven't been to other hospitals, so I don't know if other places allow it, but it seems like it would be good for people who come from the countryside with their guardians. My guardian said he was hungry and was going to go to a cafe for brunch. He sat there for 20 minutes and came out. Haha. And he said that if I wrote my guardian number in front, he would call me before the surgery was over, so my guardian was at Pas Gucci on the first floor, received a call, and came up. I went to the director's office for a pre-surgery consultation. They printed out several photos of me, front and side, and made several drawings. While drawing, he showed me other people's pictures to show me how much to lift the tip of my nose with Photoshop, etc. We consulted and talked for about 30~40 minutes and then went into the surgery. The director is really very kind, affectionate, and gentle. He really explained all my concerns. He's the best. I really worried, so I asked the same question several times, just changing the words, but he didn't get angry and explained everything passionately. I think we talked for more than 30 minutes, almost 40 minutes, during the 2 scheduled consultations and the 3 pre-surgery consultations. The atmosphere was good and I was able to relax before the surgery. After the consultation, he told me to go to the bathroom before the surgery, but I ran into the director in the bathroom, and he personally pulled out the hinge that keeps the bathroom door open and closed it for me, telling me to go do my business comfortably. He was so kind. (We didn't go to the bathroom together, but there was a route for hospital staff only? to go to the bathroom. When I put my phone in a locker and went to the bathroom, he was already washing his hands.) Then, I lay down on the operating table and they disinfected my face with an IV? Yes, I had surgery after anesthesia. Ringer's injections were a bit painful. After anesthesia, I became really dizzy and had a lot of dreams. When I woke up, I saw that the nose surgery was in progress. I could hear the director and the nurses talking (about the surgery). He asked me if I was awake and asked me some questions. Who recommended you? Oh, that person you know had surgery? Etc. When I asked gently, I think I answered like an idiot because I was under the anesthesia... I couldn't speak well and I don't remember well either. I was so dazed, but I lay in the same position on the operating table for 2-3 hours, so my tailbone really hurt, and the blood pressure monitor on my arm and the arm that had the IV drip were also really hurt. When I said that was uncomfortable, they took the blood pressure monitor away ㅠㅠ I don't know why the arm that had the IV drip hurt ㅠㅠ... I think I unknowingly got nervous and used a lot of strength. Also, since I couldn't breathe through my nose, I had to breathe through my mouth during the surgery, so my mouth was really dry. It was really painful. The director asked me very kindly and affectionately if I was uncomfortable because of that, and when I said my mouth was dry, he said there was nothing he could do about itㅋㅋㅋㅠㅠ And because I couldn't sleep, I was listening for about 20 or 30 minutes, and I had some leftover ear cartilage, but instead of throwing it away, he put it back in my ear. He said that was also my asset ㅋㅋ [My ears are unusually big, so with one ear, between the tip of my nose and the bridge of my nose? The bridge of my nose? Above the tip of my nose? [I uploaded some parts and there's more] Then everything was tied up and the surgery was done. The Ringer's was all removed, the taping and cotton? A splint was put in my nose, I got a butt injection, I came out of the operating room and felt really recovered. When I went to the recovery room and checked the time, it was around 1:11? 17 minutes. I'm so hazy I don't remember exactly ㅈㅅㅈㅅ The last time I got a call on the phone before going into the operating room was around 10:01? Like you said, it took about 3 hours. I couldn't sleep in the recovery room and was a bit dizzy, but it didn't hurt and I thought I would be okay to go home ~~ I was lying down and before I knew it, I fell asleep ㄷㄷ When I woke up, it was 2:30 ㅋㅋ My guardian came and helped me come to my senses and the nurse gave me grape juice and chocolate to drink and rest and then I came out of the hospital around 3. In other reviews, they said that after the surgery, they showed me the surgery pictures and stuff and told me it went well and gave me a consultation? I think (I might have confused it with another hospital review) The surgery? I was wondering what was inside my nose, but I didn't ask to see the surgery photos. The original plan was to take a taxi home, but it was actually better than I thought, so I took the bus and subway home. I even ate porridge when I got home, and it was fine. The only uncomfortable things were that I couldn't breathe through my nose, my mouth had to open small, and my nose would bleed... I'm a healthy adult male with no nasal septum, no cleft palate, and only the tip of my nose, so that could be because of that. But would it be difficult for women who are weak or people who use cleft palate or ribs? And the next day, I went to get treatment, and the director looked at me and said that my nose was made up of even cartilage, so he would do his best to make it match (I was told in advance during the consultation that my nostrils could be even and that the cartilage could be even). He didn't show me the surgery photos that I mentioned earlier and just briefly explained them while he was treating me, and he didn't really say that it went well. That made me a little anxious. There are some reviews that say that the staff is unfriendly, but I don't understand. Everyone was really kind, and I changed the surgery date and it was my first surgery, so I didn't remember the treatment time the next day because I was dizzy after the surgery, so I called and asked several times. It was my first time having anesthesia, so I was annoyed by things like whether the anesthesia would hurt during the surgery and whether I would wake up in the middle, but he answered all of them kindly and it was nice. The director was also really kind and affectionate during the surgery, consultation, and treatment. My nose is still not very visible because of the cast and tape, so I took them off and the swelling went down a bit, so I'll look at the shape and it'll take 1-3 weeks? I'll write a review after watching it for about a month or so or edit the text and add more. I'm thinking about taking pictures because I'm worried that my friends might recognize them. Anyway, there isn't much information about Gokseom, but I hope it's helpful. If you have any questions, leave a comment and I'll answer them!
