This is a man who underwent revision nose surgery
at Whee Plastic Surgery on March 17, 2023
.
I know Seongyesa's principles are informal, but
for this review, I'll just write in my usual tone.
All the photos are of me, and I posted them on Hwi's homepage when I was 4 months old, but this
is my first time posting a photo review on Seongyesa
(*Both before and after, I only corrected pores and blemishes. No corrections related to nose shape.)
------------- ---------------------------------------------
Satisfied as of 6 months It's like that.
I am satisfied because the treatment was done according to my needs, but I
am also satisfied with the fact that I met someone who is really sincere toward his patients and that
I can trust him no matter what, so I can live without worries.
First surgery: Silicone 3mm, nasal septum extension (silicone material), nasal tip elevation with ear cartilage, lateral osteotomy, nostril reduction (incision), abdominal nose correction Hwi Reoperation
: silicone removal (together with membrane removal), removal of nasal septum extension, Osteotomy restoration, removal of new ear cartilage at the tip of the nose to maintain height, restoration of support structure.
For my first surgery, I was told by an acquaintance and close friend that he was the director of plastic surgery
, so I trusted him without knowing anything, but I was ruined.
After the first surgery, my nose was out of balance with my face, heterogeneous,
and uneven. It felt natural.
I really can't describe it in words. It was vaguely tightened.
When I was pregnant, the vertical ratio from forehead to nose to chin line was perfect at 1:1:1, but
after surgery, the good ratio was all broken.
Also, by reducing the cheekbones (incisions) and even making bone cuts, my face, which originally had fat cheeks,
became thinner only with my nose, and the horizontal ratio was also broken.
After the first bath, the silicone was warped to the right (and gradually bent over time), and
the nose was obviously longer, but why were the nostrils more visible? Why did the
naturally round nostrils turn into triangles and pointy? When I smiled, my nose looked like a devil's, and I hated it. I had a similar
reduction in the nostrils, but the volume above the alar wings disappeared, so
the nostrils were more emphasized and it looked as if strength was being applied to the nostrils. As
you can see in the photo, the upper nostrils were sunken during the first surgery, so
the alar line was rather emphasized. I also asked for it
to not be just a chalk nose, but why did they make it a chopstick chalk nose? They removed the volume around the bridge of the nose and the wings of the nose, so it
was
weird. The nose itself went from a natural face to something like this,
but the nose changed the facial impression itself. I
felt a sense of despair for the first time in my life.
A sense of despair that I couldn't go back.
I thought nose surgery was too easy.
Really, don't think surgery is easy
. Before I had my first surgery , I didn't really know what kind of nose suited me until my face was ruined.
I finally have eyes to see.
If you're going to have nose surgery , you need to know best
what kind of nose suits your face.
You need to find a doctor who understands your needs and can do it in the safest way possible.
These days, everyone is obsessed with reducing the size of the nose and all, but
the nose can really throw off the proportions of the face, so think carefully about surgery that will require difficult restoration.
Especially men, don't blindly make your nose thin.
Men's noses must be reasonably wide and plump to be masculine.
Pay too much attention to photos. Don't use it. Instead, exercise and diet.
Most people are fine in real life as long as their nose looks slightly protruding in their selfies.
Are you okay with the photo of my first move? There are people who do this...
The picture is 2D so it can't capture the real thing...
It doesn't show the whole face and the eyes are covered
. The bulium is gone where the volume should be and the aspect ratio of the nose is all broken... It's so blurry that it's driving me crazy. It was obvious.
The first hospital I received gaslighting me by saying I did a good job, and
I was treated like a patient with delusions of grandeur at other hospitals, but
Director Se-Hwi Hwang understood and reflected my needs, and was truly a benefactor who saved my life.
(After the first session, the nose should be relatively short from an elongated nose, the aspect ratio should be adjusted again
, the volume should be where it should be, the nose width should be moderate, the tip of the nose should feel round and plump, and there should be no artificial t-shirt. Meanwhile, the tip of the nose should be of a certain height to match the line of the bridge of the nose. (I wish there was...etc.)
He is a regular hexagonal doctor , with everything from his experience in the plastic surgery industry, his aesthetic sense, his skills, his personality to think of patients, etc.
He is a person I respect
, so I am leaving a review like this to repay the favor.
I will leave a review in the first year, and I plan to leave a review in the second year as well.
*Only 10 photos can be uploaded to Seongyesa, so this is all I can show.
I posted the photos I showed Teacher Sehwi and what I asked him to do
in detail on Hwi's homepage in the fourth month. If you are curious, please refer to
