1. Reason for surgery: There were many parts I didn't like, but I
decided to go ahead with it because it's the center of my face and the place I've wanted to go the most for a long time. In fact, I made my decision after worrying about it for three years?, but I think I'll make up my mind after going to a hospital consultation. I recommend people who are worried to gather information and go for a consultation.
2. Hospital selection: In my case, I searched through reviews on Barbitok, Gangnam Unnie, and Seongyesa, and saved all the noses I liked separately. Then I checked if there were any hospitals + doctors in common, and only one hospital got 6 votes.
I was going to go ahead and do it! but I went to all the hospitals on the list for consultations. However, I ended up getting the surgery at the place that got 6 votes.
They had a separate anesthesiologist, and there were a lot of people, and the consultants and nurses were all kind, so I made my decision. And even though I was so nervous that I spoke like a beggar, the doctor explained everything perfectly.
And this might sound a little strange, but this was the hospital that gave me the least pain when I had my blood drawn. I was truly amazed because I didn't even feel the needle going in. I think that each and every medical staff's skills, whether small or big, are important (after all, this is a surgery!!) and I really liked it in that regard.
3. Surgery details and review: Since I didn't have a big nose, I didn't make it very high, but I used autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage + donated costal cartilage.
It's hard to sit and lie down for 2-3 weeks after the surgery, so it's good if you think about it carefully, but I decided from the beginning not to use prosthetics like silicone, so I did it that way. The reason is that I didn't want to get inflammation in my situation.
The back of my ear is still a little tight, but it's okay as long as I'm careful to wipe it after showering.
*Personally, the point of the surgery
was to make the tip of my nose not pointy and raise it naturally.
People may feel different things from the pictures, but I'm personally very satisfied. People around me said it turned out really well, and the beauty salon I went to after a long time said that something became clearer, so when I told them that I had my nose done, they said that it didn't show, but it really did make me pretty. Ah, a very happy life. Actually, it's been 3 months? Now it just looks like my nose.
It's really hard for about a month and a half after the surgery. Since rhinoplasty is a major surgery, I think it's better to make up your mind and do it properly.
Please do your research on the doctor and the hospital properly!
********And there are often people who ask about the change in the shape of my face, but
I didn't get it done at a orthopedic clinic, but
at a Korean medicine clinic!
