I had my nose done with Noon Jae at Obli Plastic Surgery on July 18th. The eyes were healed from previous surgery elsewhere, so natural adhesion was done at Obly, and the nose was raised by 4 mm using ear cartilage and silicone (2 Nofit) because it was a complex. It's been about a month since my surgery haha.
While looking into plastic surgery, I mainly sold hand products and went to 4 places for foot surgery. Since I had to have surgery on my eyes and nose at the same time, I wanted a doctor who was good at both, I wanted good follow-up care (where you can see the doctor after the surgery and every step of the way), I wanted the doctor to not overdo the surgery, and to be kind and considerate. Haha. And the doctor. wanted a middle-aged teacher who was not too old but not too experienced. The hospitals I worked at were good places, but if I liked the eyes, I didn't like the nose, and if I liked the nose, I didn't like the eyes. Then I found Obly, which has clean eye lines and a straight nose. I liked the feel of the place + the feeling of sleeping in it, so even before I went, I thought that if it was okay, I should do it right here.
When I first entered Oubly Plastic Surgery, I liked the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I went in for a consultation with the manager right away without waiting, and we had a brief conversation about my illness and what kind of design I wanted.
And I went in for a consultation with Director Kim Da-aeng, and he was so kind!!
It rained so much that day that there was a heavy rain warning, and the director asked me if I was okay despite the heavy rain. He was also concerned about my mental health, asking if I was okay since I was taking psychiatric medication and was worried about having nose surgery carefully. .
I was touched here haha.. I said it was okay, and from then on, consultation about surgery began. First of all, he said that the anesthesia I was taking might not be effective due to the medicine I was taking, so he asked me to find out.
Other hospitals compared this to the fact that they did not pay attention to this aspect. That's how I consult, and Director Kim Da-aeng's fingers are long and thin. I had a strong feeling that this person would do a good job with delicate surgery, so I made up my mind to do it here and paid right away.
Then, I went home after designing a customized nose silicone (2 no-fit) with the director.
Finally, the day of plastic surgery. I was so nervous ㅠㅠㅠㅠ.. All kinds of random thoughts came to mind.. But in the midst of all this, what I was so happy and grateful for was that Director Kim Da-aeng kept saying good things to me! The nurses were so kind and sweet. I was so nervous, but I felt reassured when everyone around me told me that everything was going well. And I woke up in the middle of the surgery, but the director performed the surgery until the end.
I went home after the surgery, but it hurt so much as the anesthesia wore off. I think it hurt because they put a big piece of cotton in my nose, which is small. I went straight to the hospital the next morning and had the cotton removed, and it was a little better.
It was a little frustrating because I couldn't wash my face for a week, but it was manageable. After about two weeks, the bruising and swelling went down to some extent. I drank pumpkin juice every day and used cold compresses every day for the first week.
It was fun waking up every morning and checking for swelling.
The swelling was different every time I woke up. It's been about a month now and there is still some minor swelling.
But people around me say it's great, and at the place I work, I hear a lot of comments from customers saying I'm pretty... (I'm embarrassed, but I'm proud of it... I'll do it a little hahaha) I've heard a lot of people say I'm pretty after plastic surgery, so I'm happy to donate every day hahahaha.
I recently went to the hospital to check on my progress for the first month, and the director looked after me with utmost care.
It was really hard to choose a hospital while trying my best, but I think I made the right choice!!!!
