I had necrosis, which everyone is really worried about during the surgery....
I never imagined that this would happen to me... I
was really at a loss, so I contacted the hospital and came in the next day.
The director said that there was a risk of infection and that we had to get sutures done outside, so we had the surgery done on the same day.
I told them to try to preserve the shape as much as possible, but wound healing was the most important priority, so we focused on the sutures.
What was more problematic than the sutures was that
when you look at the side, the tip of my nose was completely cut off as if it had been cut with a knife. ㅠ
From that moment on, I was really depressed and panicked
. What should I do? I was worried that I would have to wait 6 months for a second surgery, but how would I go out with this nose...
Even after the stitches were removed, the wound didn't heal as cleanly as I thought, so the scar was a bit messy.
At that moment, my wife said she wanted to get a nose job, and although
the hospital I went to was famous, my results weren't good, so I couldn't recommend it, so my friend recommended it to me because it was a really good place.
My wife's surgery went so well that I had a lot of thoughts.
The hospital where she had her surgery said they would provide after-sales service after 6 months, but
of course it would cost a lot less, but since trust itself was so low, I decided to have a second surgery at the hospital where my wife had her surgery.
As you can see from the pictures, her condition was the worst due to necrosis.
After that, I had a consultation at the hospital where my wife had her surgery, and after looking at the condition of her nose, the director said that surgery would be difficult right away.
(My stomach collapsed.)
The skin in the area where necrosis was treated was different from normal skin, and the tissues inside were very hard and problematic, so I had PRP treatment once a week for 6 sessions to expand and regenerate the tissues in the area as much as possible before going into surgery.
I had PRP regeneration treatment consistently after the surgery, so my scars were almost gone.
I remember the materials used for the surgery were autologous rib, serge foam, ear cartilage, and Alloderm!
I am very satisfied with the results of the surgery.
As satisfying as the results of the surgery were, I was really touched by the director, desk teachers, and nurses who took such thorough care of me from pre-surgery PRP regeneration to the surgery and aftercare. I
was also very grateful for the director personally checking and managing everything every time I visited every 2-3 days after the surgery. It
may be because I was very stressed out due to service and management issues at my previous hospital, but it really hit home for me.
