It's been over a year since I had my rhinoplasty. I had my first surgery about 10 years ago, and it gradually got shorter and turned up.
Last year, I had some free time, so I thought I should get my nose done. I went to the place where my friend got his surgery, got a CT scan, and had a consultation. I ended up getting the surgery right away. (Director Seung-il VN)
The director suggested removing the silicone, but my nose bridge is really low. So I asked if they could replace the silicone and asked them to make the bridge a little bigger. I was worried about the ribs being absorbed, so I decided to have my entire nose tip reconstructed with my own ribs. The ribs were less painful than I thought (mini ribs?), but I still remember how hard it was to have cotton stuffed into my nose.
The good thing: When I was curious and anxious about my nose shape, they showed me the pictures they took in the operating room first, so I felt a little more at ease.
I went for treatment very often, and the director checked every time. I think I went about five times until they pulled out the ribs.
What was disappointing: There was a bit of a wait when I went to get treatment. I thought it was because the director was there in person
. And the director's style. It's not like, "The surgery went really well. Don't worry." The repertoire is, "You can't rest assured yet. You have to recover well."
At 1 month, I had a little inflammation of the tip of my nose? I took medicine and it went well. At 2 months, I suspected a little inflammation of my nose bridge, so I got a shot and took medicine.
Now, a little over a year later, I'm pretty satisfied overall. But when I went to check on my recent progress, the director told me to rest assured since it's been a year, and to take care of my nose and come see me if anything happens. Haha,
I think that's right. Who can guarantee that there won't be any problems after plastic surgery?
Disappointing points: The nose line is a little different when viewed from the left and right. The nostrils are a little asymmetry. The autologous costal scar is a little protruding. I got a shot and it went away, but it didn't go away.
