Is it really true that just tying the tip of the nose cartilage won't be effective?

I have a very thick bulbous nose.. I went to both ㅇㅅㅎ and ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ for consultation today
 , but I told them that I wanted to reduce the amount I have without cartilage transplant or prosthesis, so I just wanted to get fat removed and cartilage tying,
 and both of them said that it would be almost ineffective..
 ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ said that they would just insert it into the nose and tie it, so it's hard to call it surgery. They said that there would only be very slight differences, so do you think it would really be ineffective?ㅜㅜ
 I was worried that ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ would have a lot of brokers since it's a mid-to-large sized hospital, but the consultation at ㅇㅅㅎ was really unpleasant..
 Also, ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ was asking 700,000 won, but ㅇㅅㅎ was asking 1.77 million won.. What's bad and what's goodㅜㅜ
