I'm so angry, sad and tired.
The mental pain was so severe that I went to the hospital
(I got depression, panic disorder, and insomnia from the stress. I really got cancer).
I had the surgery at 000 Plastic Surgery in Nonhyeon-dong (near Sinsa Station), which is famous for rhinoplasty
. I paid 7 million won and had the costal cartilage surgery donated.
But it was a total mess, so I can't breathe on one side of my nose that was fine.
All online plastic surgery-related posts are full of
advertisements . There seem to be a lot of brokers, so filter them well
. There are a lot of ads, so never trust them all.
When
I was signing the rhinoplasty contract
, they gave me another contract
that asked
me to sign some kind of marketing consent form.
When I asked what that was,
they said, " Fox, Barbie Talk, where was it again?
Anyway, it was a contract that asked me to write three reviews of my surgery
on plastic surgery cafes and apps.
I got serious and said , "I'm not sponsoring this, and I paid for the surgery myself, so why are
you using this?" When I said, "Oh, I understand, then I won't do this,"
they pretended to hide the contract. They took it away????
That was strong.....
Talking to regular people here,
I guess that's how hospitals work.
They didn't even know what a contract was and signed it thinking they'd give them a discount,
but after talking to them, there were a lot of regular people who couldn't complain even if the surgery went wrong
. Never sign just any contract
that gives you a small discount before surgery
. Getting to the point
, I didn't have rhinitis and
I didn't know what the symptoms were, but then
I heard I had rhinitis?
Since it was covered by insurance anyway,
they said they'd treat rhinitis while I was getting the surgery
, and since it was almost free,
I did it together
. I was someone who could breathe really well, but
I can barely breathe through my left nostril, and
my nose is all on the right side
from the bridge of my nose to the philtrum
, so it's natural that the nasal column (column) has collapsed and
the left hole has become narrower, right?
I went to a hospital that was clearly good at rhinoplasty, but
how could they make a perfectly good nose like this
? I even asked the director if he had done the surgery himself.
Later, I told the director that I wanted to see the CCTV, but he
said it had been erased and I couldn’t check.
When the director talked about a second surgery,
I said that I couldn’t trust this hospital anymore, and
he said that he would refund me right away.
Since my nose is so bad right now,
I asked him to compensate me because I thought the second surgery would cost a lot if
I went to another hospital. At first, he said no, but when I asked him a second time,
he said that there was something like a medical insurance system called medical deduction, and
that we should resolve it by submitting it to them.
He promised that he
would cooperate so that his hospital could receive the second surgery fee.
When the director said no, saying that it would take a long time if I submitted the medical deduction,
he said that if the hospital cooperated
so that the medical deduction could be processed quickly,
it wouldn’t take long. So since I could have a second surgery in 6 months,
I asked him to set a date for
the surgery 6 months later
since I have to film and work
. He promised that he would make it similar even if it took a few more days.
The director admitted that he understood all of the mistakes
I was making and said he would cooperate, so
I believed him and waited.
While I was waiting, I tried to find a hospital for a second surgery,
but every hospital I went to
said , “Come back in 6 months,” “Come back in a year,”
“We can’t guarantee results even if you get the surgery,”
“You can’t get it done with just one surgery.”
They didn’t even give me a consultation, and even when I did, they
only said things like this. I guess they didn’t want to suffer the same fate they had at other hospitals. Of course,
I had to think about the amount to be at least 100,000 won,
and even if I gave them 20,000 won, it would be difficult.
(I fought with the director at this hospital. He said my nose was irreversible, so I was upset...) I
went to a university hospital to get tested, but I lost 1 million won on the test fee
. (There is a previous post. The university hospital also said they weren’t confident.)
My nose was upturned, so it was very asymmetrical even
when looking at it from the front. My whole face looked distorted in photos, so
I couldn’t do any photos after the nose surgery, and I lost my livelihood.
As much as it was painful not being able to work, I
was scared that
my nose was really not working because I couldn't even breathe properly.
But after 6 months, I kept in touch, and
even after 10, 11, 12 months and a year passed
The medical insurance did not respond, and
the medical insurance said,
“The plastic surgery clinic is not giving a definitive answer.”
I contacted the hospital and complained,
saying that they could only process it if the plastic surgery clinic gave the okay. The
hospital’s irresponsible response was,
“We don’t care about the medical insurance-related issues.”
When I said, “ What am I going to do if you pass the buck?”
they said, “Then you should file a civil suit. For now, it’s out of our hands.” The director who answered the phone said...
They were avoiding responsibility
as if they were throwing bombs at each other,
and contrary to their promise to resolve it within 6 months,
a year had passed without a resolution and time just kept passing.
I wanted to go to the hospital and make a scene
or even picket, but
I didn’t want to fight either, and I was already so mentally exhausted that I
didn’t have the strength to fight.
I wanted to end it well, so I held on and held on until the end.
But in the end, they told me to file a civil
suit . It felt like a betrayal...
So I contacted the medical insurance and the hospital,
saying that I would file a civil suit
and claim all the damages I had suffered so far
. After some time,
I received a 'settlement agreement' from the medical insurance company in my email.
The amount was not an amount that could be agreed upon, but
the content of the settlement agreement was not an apology and
[it said that if I received this money and went somewhere else and talked about this, I would be sued].
So I was thinking about it for a while, and
then the medical insurance company called and
asked me in a demanding tone, "Are you going to settle or not?"
I was dumbfounded and was wondering what to say...
The call was on speakerphone and
my family was listening in, and
they were all so surprised by the medical insurance company's attitude.
I couldn't say anything, but
the medical insurance company kept asking questions as if they were pressuring
me. My parents were also surprised by their attitude and
said that they would just look into a lawsuit, so
I thought that if I settled like this,
I would feel wronged and regret it...
I hired a lawyer and ended up filing a civil suit.
The hospital didn't respond quickly to the civil suit either,
so it took a long time. It took a long time
just to have the first trial, and
it's been two years since the surgery.
But recently, the first trial was held and
they never admitted that the surgery was wrong,
never said they would refund or compensate,
and they say they don't know anything about medical insurance......??????
If they just pretend not to know, then it all becomes as if nothing happened??
Everyone has to record when they get surgery at a hospital, make a decision, and
complain.... The hospital's story changed, so
I wonder if they told
me to file a civil suit just to hit me in the back of the head like this,
and I feel so wronged... It's ridiculous........... I wonder how this can be,
and what would ordinary people do......?
Please help me.....
Lastly,
most people
are really careful and very careful when choosing a nose job. They
think that if they get the surgery to become
pretty, they will become prettier, but
they don't consider
that it will make them uglier and make it difficult to breathe.
Most people... There are people like me, so please keep this in mind when making a decision . I want to go back to my nose before this.... You really, really
need to look at a lot of reviews when choosing a hospital, and
it's important to see how they take care of themselves after the surgery.
In this situation, I absolutely need to get a second surgery, but
I'm having a hard time deciding
which hospital I can trust
.... This is not written
with the intent of defamation, but with the hope that
consumers
will make careful decisions about nose jobs and
that no one will be harmed, and for the public good.
