My boyfriend wants to break up with me if I do it with both hands

I have a boyfriend who even talked about marriage.
 He originally hates plastic surgery, but when I told him I was getting double eyelid surgery, he said let's break up
 . He said it's not okay for a girlfriend to get plastic surgery, but it's okay for a wife... I don't know what his mindset is.
 I tried really hard to persuade him, but he was so adamant that we'd break up if I got double eyelid surgery, and that if I wanted to decide, I should do it after we get married. But I liked him so much that I said okay for now.
 That day, I was dragged by my boyfriend to a plastic surgery clinic and even got a refund of my deposit.
 However, I still have 3 years left until my wedding (and honestly, I don't know how our relationship will change in the meantime), and I really want to get double eyelid surgery. Even if I get married, I want to walk down the aisle looking pretty.
 Is there anyone who has continued to date after their boyfriend strongly opposed plastic surgery but went ahead with it? I know I'm foolish, but I need some advice.
