Since I seem to be doing a lot of rhinoplasty these days, I made a checklist of what to prepare for rhinoplasty (before and after). I hope it helps
<Things you need at home after surgery>
- Sterile cotton swabs
- Sterile gauze
- Medical tape
- Bruise cream
(depending on whether there are bruises after surgery) Recommended to buy)
-Neck pillow
(a must-have for those who sleep on their side, it fixes the neck to prevent sleeping on the side)
-Recliner chair or backrest pillow
(Because of swelling after surgery, they will usually tell you to sleep while sitting. If you have a recliner at home, congratulations) Even if you don't have it, you don't have to buy it for the surgery. I recommend buying a much cheaper back pillow. If you don't want to buy this, just stack several pillows at home and sleep)
- Humidifier
(a must-have for people with rhinitis, I got by without a humidifier, but if I go back to that time, I definitely want a humidifier. (I will prepare it)
<Things needed on the day of surgery>
- Water to drink + sauce bottle sold at Daiso (with a lid)
(Usually you are told to drink water through a straw, but it is better to drink water from a sauce bottle sold at Daiso rather than using a straw after surgery) It's much more comfortable if you aim at the neck and drink it)
- Wear a shirt with buttons
(even if it's not a shirt, wear clothes with buttons or zippers)
- Large mask
- Loose hat that covers your face
- Comfortable shoes (Crocs recommended)
- Neck pillow
(good in the car) It's convenient because it fixes the neck)
If you need anything else before or after nose surgery, please write it in the comments!
