I was selling handmade products 1-2 months ago, but there weren't many detailed reviews of the hospital, so I went out and consulted in person and collected all the reviews I wrote and
uploaded them (be careful of pressure). It may be implausible because it is a series of several posts, but you can take it into consideration. If you have
any questions, please leave a comment. I'll try to answer as soon as I remember, but it's been a while and I've forgotten a lot. Also, I've
had my eyes and nose done since I received this consultation, so I don't know the aftereffects of the surgery
. 1. ㅇㅇ (Square jaw behind the ear)
- At first, the incision inside my mouth was a bit weird for me. Because the swelling lasted for a long time, I purposely only sought out behind-the-ear excision.
So, the first consultation I had was ㅇㅇ and ㅂㄷ. There were only two
one-man doctors, and the time was on a weekday, so there were only about 1-2 customers, and it was not a waiting period for surgery or consultation, but a surgery progress consultation. , they were people who came for a procedure or something like that
- I consulted with the counseling director shortly after registering, and after a brief chat, the director immediately proceeded with the consultation (waiting for 1-2 minutes?)
Before the consultation, there were already a lot of reviews and YouTube videos from the hospital. I looked it up and found out that these were all things I knew to some extent, and like other reviews, I seemed to have a lot of pride in having surgery behind my ears (not that I was arrogant, but rather confident)
- First of all, I had developed the angles under my ears and lost fat on my face. There is not much, and the muscles are relatively developed. I received Botox once each in October 2022 and February 23, so there is still some Botox effect left. Usually, it
takes about 2 years for the Botox effect to completely wear off and the muscles to come back. So
, he recommended a square jaw excision + muscle excision. In the case of cortical bone, he did not recommend it because it can make someone with no skin on the face make them look sunken. He said that of course, they would only do a small amount of muscle excision.
If he wanted to have cortical bone excision, he would also do the front chin. They said it would be a good idea to do it, but I said no because I didn't care about the front chin
- It's difficult to disclose the price, so I put it on hold (square jaw + muscle resection)
2. ㅂㄷ (behind the ear)
- ㅇㅇ The next place I went to was ㅂㄷ, and I looked into doing the same thing here as behind the ear excision.
If you look at the hospital event here, you will see that there are two types, the square jaw behind the ear and the endoscopic long curved square jaw. What is the difference? The square jaw
behind the ear is simply a method of removing the actual square jaw below the ear (long curve x), and the endoscopic square jaw is commonly known. As everyone who has received consultation for square jaw excision
knows, except for a few people, they say that if you only excise the angle below the ear, a step (secondary angle) is created, so you have to have a long curve, right?
So, I was also recommended a long curve, and here, they said that you should have cortical bone resection instead of muscle resection to see the frontal effect, and since the muscle still has the effect of Botox, it is difficult to estimate the amount, and the muscle may be more relaxed after resection
- and other reviews. A lot of people say that it is very important to harmonize with the eyes, nose, and mouth, and since
I have a small mouth and a short chin, the doctor said that it would be good to have a rounded cut (long curve + front chin).
Of course, he did not force me to do it, but it was his personal preference when looking at the overall facial harmony. That being said, I only recommend it~ It felt like
he was really kind, and the consultation lasted the longest out of all the consultations. Even
though I'm not the type of person who does consultations for a long time, he explained a lot of things to me, so it lasted only 1 hour? It seemed like
we were close, so I was almost inclined to go here and set a date, and then started looking into other hospitals as well
.
3. ㅂㅌ (English)
-ㅂㄷ The reason why I suddenly looked into other hospitals after thinking about it is that since the incision is made behind the ear, the swelling goes down quickly and the return to daily life is quick. But
what I was most concerned about was the scar behind my ear.
What's more, because I'm a man, I can't grow my hair and cover my ears, which
bothers me even more. - ㅂㅌ has been around for a while, and looking at the reviews, it looks like the director has probably moved over from ㄷㅇㅇ.
The event prices here are very unconventional, and the director has some experience, so that's it. I went to see it (the price is greater).
Thinking about it, I quit my job a while ago and am taking a break, so I only go during the day on weekdays, so there is always almost no wait
(this varies depending on the day and time zone, so keep in mind that the waiting time varies widely)
- Most of the time. Just like plastic surgery clinics, consultations are conducted in the following order: Counseling Director - Director - Counseling Director.
I've seen it in a few other reviews, but the counseling director is a bit sloppy, so his credibility is low. It's
not for the purpose of being disparaging, but these are the directors I've seen while attending eye, nose, and contour hospitals. It's completely different from the image,
so it's a bit jarring. Anyway, I just had a simple conversation with the counseling director, such as what area do you think about and when do you think about the timing of the procedure? After consulting with the director, he
felt the bone and said, "First of all, I have a lot of angles below my ears, and it would be better if I did the same for my front chin." If you want a more masculine look instead of this too soft look
, you don't have to touch it, and I don't recommend cortical bone and muscle resection because it can make you look sunken.
But I definitely went to see the event price, and it turns out that the price listed for the event here is also for excision of only the angle of the ear. If you proceed with a long curve, the price rises further (but it is still not expensive).
The consultation with the director lasted about 5-10 minutes, and I talked to the director again to discuss the final price and follow-up care (about 2-3 visits, 1 stitch puller, 1 visit to see the post-mortem results, and optional swelling management, swelling like pumpkin juice) I told them about the management package and I was a little worried, and I said I would look into other places, so I told them and they said they could match the price to a certain extent. Still, I still have some reservations left at other hospitals, and since it's an outline, I want to think carefully, so he says he understands. It's
a
long story, so I'll just end it here
. ㅇㅇ and ㅂㄷ are both one-person hospitals, so they give pumpkin juice and there's no follow-up care or follow-up. The procedure is the same.
What is unique is that ㅂㄷ is the only hospital that shows the surgery being performed on CCTV with the director after the
surgery
. 4. ㅇㅇㅌ
- This is the only doctor who
outlines. In fact, I went here because the event price was too high.
It is not a hospital famous for outlines, but it is generally rated well. It was a good hospital and the director's experience didn't seem to be short, so I got a consultation.
However, after making a reservation, I looked into it and the part that bothered me was that the previous hospitals were places I thought were black, so I was concerned.
But since I already made a reservation, let's get a consultation. So I went to get it, and since it was daytime on a weekday, there was almost no wait.
I took a CT scan and had a brief consultation with the director. He said he would be back soon after the surgery. He looked
like he came in about 2-3 minutes.
He looked at the CT scan and looked at my face. My bones are like this now. How can I get a square jaw? He was going to have an excision.
He must have come in a hurry because he had another surgery right after the end. He looked short of breath when he came in and seemed like he was trying to explain quickly and then leave. He asked me if I had any
questions, so I asked him how many centimeters he would leave behind his ears. He answered that he would leave about this much, but he kept looking like he was trying to leave quickly. I felt sorry because I couldn't ask any questions.
So the consultation ended in 2-3 minutes (the shortest consultation I've ever had) and I talked to the director again after hearing the price explanation.
I didn't even worry about candidates
.
5. ㄹㅅㅍ
- There are 3 plastic surgeons here, each with a specialized part. It's a small hospital like other private hospitals.
Personally, I like one-person hospitals or small hospitals, so I liked it. I did
the same thing here, got a CT scan, consulted with the director first (he was kind), and then went in for a consultation with the director.
My previous hospital consultation ended much faster than I expected, so I went to a nearby hospital. It seemed like the director was in the middle of surgery because he was wasting time and went a little earlier than the scheduled time
. Still, there was a wait of about 3-5 minutes, so the director came right away.
Is it because he came right after the surgery? Is there a bandana used during the surgery? He came wearing the same thing
and didn't feel rushed at all. Instead, he looked at my CT scan in a very calm manner, touched my face, and explained to me in detail the
location of the nerve line and how the surgery would be performed. He recommended only the amount needed.
I don't have much skin on my face, so only the square bone was removed. He said that it would be enough and that there was no need for muscle resection or cortical resection because it would make my face look worse.
After the consultation with the director, I consulted with the manager again and told him everything about follow-up care, after-sales service, visit date, etc., and
the amount was the same as what was stated in the event, so it was good. After the consultation here, he said that it was enough. Afterwards, I thought I should go here (changed later)
6. ㅎㅁ
- ㄹㅅㅍ The next place I went to was ㅎㅁ, and there are a total of 2 people here, one nose and chest director and one contour-eye director (there is a separate anesthesiologist).
This is also here . Even though I went a little earlier than the scheduled time, I filled out the chart and there was no wait for the consultation. I took a CT scan right away and went
in for a consultation with the director. Likewise here, I first briefly checked the area I wanted to have surgery on and other things, and then proceeded with the consultation with the director.
The director made a very good impression and was very calm. He explained
the surgery method by touching the bones and examining the details of the CT scan. He said he thought it would be a little softer if the front jaw was also included, but since it was his own opinion, he said you didn't have to do it and just thought about it and let him know if you thought it was okay (the tone was absolutely forcing it). When I said that
I wanted to keep the front chin, he said that it would work just fine if I didn't have a front chin and just had a square jaw, and that it would involve a bit of cortical excision. Since I had
already been to many hospitals before and knew everything to a certain extent, I didn't really have any questions anymore. Each director only asked questions about things that were slightly different in their answers (eating after surgery, swelling, surgery time, etc.) Even though
I didn't ask many questions, the consultation time was not short and was just right
. After consulting with the director, I went on to another consultation with the director, and the director was very helpful from start to finish. He was kind.
He told me everything about follow-up care, after-sales service, CCTV, etc. The price here was the same as the event price, but what surprised me was that it included anesthesia fee and inspection fee (I was surprised because there was no +@ in the price).
Else, it was the event price. +Anesthesia (Kebake) and test fees +@, but they don't even exist here.
Instead, if you are hospitalized for one day, there is a fee of 150,000 won (optional), but it is said that you can get a discount if you make a reservation on the same day. However, there was no pressure to make a reservation at all.
They just told me how much the deposit was and if I booked today, there were many benefits, so I could get a refund later. They didn't even say anything like that.
They said you can look around other places and think carefully before making a decision, so it was one of the few hospitals that was good from start to finish
(I went to over 15 eye, nose, and contour hospitals, and it was the best)
7. ㄹㅇㅈ
- It's a place that works with a dermatologist. What can I say, it looks like a large hospital.
If you look at the plastic surgery app, there are 15 doctors, so it may look like a large hospital, but there are
4 plastic surgery directors and 11 dermatology directors, so it is not a large plastic surgery hospital.
Originally, I was going home after going to two consultations during the day. The hospital contacted me to make a schedule
and asked if I could go now. The director said there would be a wait of about 30 minutes because he was in surgery. I said okay, went in,
registered, and was sitting on a chair when I saw a foreigner getting surgery and leaving, and
I saw a foreigner also getting surgery. It makes me wonder if it's a hospital,
but that doesn't mean I'm reluctant. Anyway,
the process of registering, filling out a questionnaire, getting a CT scan, and consulting with the manager are all the same, so I'll skip it. It's
not like there's anything special. Even if you
go a little earlier than the consultation time, you can fill out the questionnaire, get a CT scan, and consult with the manager. It seemed like Dr. Keumim
came right after the surgery.
However, he calmly asked me where my problem was, without any signs of distress or annoyance. He said it was my square
jaw area, so he touched it and said that my jawbone was definitely large and
turned outward, and that it looked more prominent because I didn't have much flesh. He
asked me what kind of line I wanted, and he said I wanted to leave a little bit of the corner below the ear. He
looked at the CT and said that the excision would be done in a long curve to this extent.
The front chin is also a bit wide, so I think it would be okay to do the same with the front chin, but
people who want to leave a masculine line should not use the front chin. I was told that it was okay to do so,
and I said that it was a case where I could see a lot of lateral and frontal effects even with a square jaw since the jaw bone was outward and there was no flesh, so the outline line
was clearly visible.
Other than that, I had already searched for various things, and in theory, I had researched enough to be able to provide consultation. So,
I just asked about the recovery period, whether I would be hospitalized, etc. for the sake of formality. I was told that the recovery period would be 1-2 weeks, and that the swelling would go down in about 1 month. I should stay
in the hospital for one day, and
after going home the next day, I was informed of the price while consulting with the counselor.
Event price. + Examination fee + Hospitalization fee can be considered to be about 10% additional than what is listed for the event.
However, the event price itself was cheap, so even with that added amount, it was cheaper than most other hospitals
. And the follow-up care was pain relief the day after hospitalization, about a week or so. I visited a week later and compared the before and after CT scans, swelling laser, etc. It was similar to other places.
Oh, and I only need to do the bone,
so I don't know if there
is an additional cost for cortical resection or muscle reduction. It was good, and it was the last hospital I consulted on that day. Thanks to that, I went home in a good mood.
The hospital right before was so bad that I compared it further
.
8. ㅇㄹ
- It seemed like they were working with a dermatologist here too. There are
a total of 12 directors, 9 plastic and dermatology directors, There are three directors of the anesthesiology department, [there is only one director, Yoon Gwak]
What was a little unusual here was that usually at other hospitals, when you register, they ask you to fill out a questionnaire,
but here, when you sit down, a staff member comes to your side and asks questions and fills out the questionnaire. It
was burdensome for me.
And this time, the hospital asked me to fill out the questionnaire. There was also a newly opened dermatology clinic,
and they said you could get dermatology benefits if you clicked on KakaoTalk, but it was a field I wasn't interested in, so I couldn't remember.
But this was a larger hospital than I thought. Even
though it was around lunch time, there were quite a lot of people, and there were people going for surgery and people coming out after surgery. I saw a few people.
While consulting with the director of the counseling department, he asked me where I had been to the hospital, and I told him where I had been.
Usually, when I sign up for an outline event, I was asked what I was worried about, but he said that there was no such thing and that
I could consult with the director and think about it. (That doesn't sound like he is being half-hearted. )
And during the consultation with the director, the first time I felt like it was a factory was that
he usually greeted me and asked me what I was worried about and explained accordingly,
but instead of doing that, he just looked at the CT and explained everything from the cheekbones to the tip of the square jaw
. This is the area to be done, but he just kept explaining without me having time to say anything.
Since the cheekbones are a bit long and look big even when viewed from under the CT photo, the cheekbones will make the face look smaller
, so the surgery will be performed in a certain way. For
the square jaw, a long curved excision will be performed, leaving a little angle below the ear. As for the tip of my chin, he said that since I have a short chin,
he would not cut it much but rather go back a little
. Of course, it was good that he looked at the overall aspect, but I felt like I was just listening to the director explain my face without even giving my opinion.
I really thought it was too much like a factory to just say hello and explain everything right away as soon as I walked
in, so I guess I shouldn't start here... So I made up my mind
and didn't really ask any questions.
Probably because the hospital is big and there are a lot of people, but there is only one director, I'm trying to turn around as many people as possible as quickly as possible. After the
consultation with the director, I consulted with the manager right away. What should I say? He seemed friendly, but not friendly, and
felt like a machine. He
had a friendly, sales-like tone, clear eyes, and a neat face, so it felt a bit like a consultation bot.
I'm not a sales person, but I'm a good person. It's a job that requires you to meet a lot and do sales to some extent, so
I think I was more hesitant because I could see something like sales skills in the way
I spoke. Probably 95 out of 100 people who are completely new to counseling or are not good at refusing will make a same-day reservation. Haha,
the director . They consulted about 3 types and gave me 3 types of price information (it is cheaper if you do 3 types),
but I was only planning on doing a square jaw and even if I did a lot, I would only do square jaw + chin tip, so I asked them to give me the individual prices.
3 types in a bundle and individual prices. There was quite a difference (there is a discount if you bundle 2 types)
, but since my face shape has a bit of cheekbones, I think it would be better to buy 3 types. If you only have a square jaw, your face will look longer. The price is also cheap because it is an event price. Recommended.
The event price is the price until November, which is the peak season, and it will go up further in November, so make a reservation and go.
You will get a 100% refund later
, so just make a reservation today and go. But I still have hospitals I have applied for consultations at, and I originally thought of three types. Since I haven't done it before, I will get more consultation and then decide.
However, even if I make a reservation today, I will get a 100% refund later, so I
can just make a reservation in advance before the event ends, think about it, and then cancel later.
If I use cheekbones and chin tips, there will be more sagging, so I only want to have a square jaw. But they said that even if you just have a square jaw, sagging will always happen.
This is something that makes me not even think about getting a square jaw, but it seemed like there were a lot of people who wanted to persuade me right away and make an appointment.
Of course, the price is important to me, but it is a surgery that touches my bones and I have to do it for the rest of my life. Since I'm going, can I think more carefully
and tell you later?
However, he suggested a same-day reservation a few more times and kept refusing, so he said he understood. I
had no intention of having surgery, but to pretend to think about it for the sake of formality, he asked for my business card after the consultation.
9. ㄴㄴ
- Here too. It was similar to ㅇㄹ.
This is a hospital that is mentioned a lot, so I thought it would already be a large hospital, and I read the reviews, so I had some expectations and
wanted to cancel, but since it was a reservation I had already made, it would be okay to cancel the reservation on the same day, so I just took it.
It is a large hospital, but I was wondering if it would be okay since there are two directors and they said I would consult with the representative director.
But what I thought was that the building was large from the entrance, and if there was a floor guide in front of the building, it was
all written in English, so I thought it must be factory-style with a lot of foreigners coming. I heard that
, and after registering, I went up on the elevator to get a CT scan, and there were a few employees inside and a few people who had surgery.
It felt like a real surgery factory, and it was a little creepy
. It felt like they were stamped on a frame in a factory and transported on a conveyor belt..?
Anyway, I took a CT scan and had a short consultation with the counseling director
. He applied for an outline event. The director said I could go straight to the consultation. I went to the consultation with the director, but this was the same as ㅇㄹ. As soon as I
entered, he said hello and immediately started explaining the 3 types of facial expressions, starting from the cheekbones, without giving my opinion.
CT When looking at it, I noticed that the width of my cheekbones left and right was 14.5mm. The director said that the average for men is 13.5mm, but it is much higher than the average. So, he said that if I
reduce my cheekbones, my face will become much smaller.
I am not interested in cheekbones, but I tend to be aware of information, so
for women, the width is 13.5mm. I already knew that the average is 14.5mm ~ 15mm, and for men, the average is 15.5mm ~ 16mm.
This person would have said that if my cheek length was 5cm, the average would have been 4cm.
Probably, everyone measures the length and says it is 1cm less than the length they found. That's average, so
your clown is above average. So, if you become a clown, you'll see results.
Gaslighting starts like water flowing without you really breathing, so be careful.
This is why it's better to be informed to avoid being gaslighted.
People often say that you have a small face. As I was listening, they suddenly made my cheekbones above average
. For me, just one chin was enough to make my cheekbones above average.
(Of course, I can see the cheekbone line clearly because I don't have any skin, but other than ㅇㄹ, I've been to 6-7 hospitals and there hasn't been one.)
Anyway, I heard it with one ear and did it with one ear. After listening to the lecture by ear, I went to consult with the counseling director.
Anyway, here too, I received 3 types of counseling and was initially guided to 3 types.
However, I came here thinking of only the square jaw, not the 3 types, but when I asked if it was
possible to only do the square jaw, the director said that he thought harmony was important, so he had no choice but to provide only the 3 types. It
seems that I have to give an estimate only according to the director's consultation.
(Probably everyone will consult with 3 types of treatment)
However, I am worried about sagging cheekbones and chin, and
would like to maintain a thick facial line
by leaving the cheekbones and chin as is. However, I can only give you an estimate based on what our director consulted. There's nothing I can do because it's out there ㅠㅠ
Well, then I don't have any plans for 3 types, so I said, "I'll think about 3 types and tell you,"
but the manager didn't force me to make a reservation or anything like that, so it was okay.
Then, it suddenly occurred to me that there were before and after photos and representative models in the hospital lobby. I should say something like that, but is
it a typical Instagram beauty image made with AI? It felt a little creepy.
I should say that it gave me goosebumps that it felt like it was made with a real machine rather than humanity.
Anyway, this is the end of the consultation review, and this time it was longer than I thought because there was a lot of TMI, so please bear with me.
And I always fight knowingly or unknowingly with the consultation manager. It seems like there's a bit of this, so it's easier
to just keep a straight face and not try to fight when it happens, as if you don't think anything. I
'm trying to find out information about this and that while selling handmade items, but there aren't many detailed reviews on Bthat, so
I'll try to write in as much detail as I can remember. So, if you have any questions, I'll answer as I remember.
