went there.
After going around a lot,
I developed an eye for consulting managers, coordinators, and directors.

it was so hard
when I had to get surgery again

[Step 1] How to sell well before making a purchase
1. Make a list on Seongye-sa/plastic surgery information internet cafes, etc.
Join the Seongye-sarang plastic surgery information cafe (one or two places)
and write down all the places and doctors that look good.
Just write down 'everything' that you like.
At this point, be careful not to 'look at' plastic surgery apps like Barbie Talk/Gangnam Unnie
.
2. Go to the 'homepage' of the hospital you made a list of
Many people don't even visit the hospital's homepage.
I was like that too
. It might not seem important, but it's really important.
Things to check on the homepage:
- Doctor's activities (whether they have been active in academic societies or places until recently, etc.)
- Before and after photos (*It has to be a before photo similar to my case, and it's important whether you like the review photo*)
--> If the homepage is not managed here
(some places don't manage it well these days) or
the reviews are too old or there aren't many
, check reviews on Barbitok and Gangnam Unnie at this stage.
(Change the filter to latest, not popularity)
When looking at the review photos, it's important to check if the before photo is similar to my current case (appearance/issues, etc.) and
if the post-surgery results are good!!
Don't compromise, and if there aren't, organize them without adding or subtracting anything.
This way,
you'll be able to organize the list you initially made.
(A list of hospitals you want to visit even if they're obscure hospitals/
places you won't go to even if they're famous, etc., etc.
)
Make reservations by phone with this list and
make all the reservations.
It would be good to check the route, but
since I can't control the hospital reservation time,
I set aside 1.5 to 2 hours for the consultation time
and 30 minutes for the travel time (since they are all in Gangnam)
and make a reservation even if I have to go back and forth.
[Step 2] Before going, find out information + list of questions
. This is very important...
I think the most important thing when getting plastic surgery
is the 'doctor's surgical skills'
, so many people prepare questions like
side effects, pain, aftercare, etc. to the doctor.
If the surgery goes well, there are no side effects
, and if the surgery goes well, what does the pain matter? Just endure it.
If the surgery goes well, aftercare isn't that important
. I think the doctor's surgical skills
come from the 'doctor's mindset toward the patient and the surgery'.
I'm not just talking about being nice.
I think it's all psychology.
How many
doctors would want to take full responsibility
for the patient during and after the surgery
? But if the surgical process or the patient's case after the surgery
affects the doctor's (the doctor's) reputation or those around them,
That person will do it even more sincerely!
The reason
I told you to go to the homepage
and look at recent activities
such as academic activities is that doctors who have been actively interacting with doctors until recently,
and especially doctors who are active in domestic and international academic societies
, are still trying to learn, are still passionate doctors, and
in other words,
are people who have a lot to lose.
What we should look at is not reading papers
to learn about surgical methods in detail
, arguing about whether or not they should use blood bags,
asking about
individual pain and side effects that no one can predict
, and asking why there is no
aftercare system
. It is important to judge
whether the doctor is a good fit for me
based on my own standards. That is why I asked just one question during this breast consultation.
- I see hospitals that advertise that blood bags and compression bandages are essential for
breast surgery in
some cases and not in others.
From my perspective as a patient, I think the blood bag and pressure bandage are
the parts that the doctor should decide during the surgery (because they are related to bleeding), but
why is this becoming the area of publicity and
the area of 'must do/must not do'?
I asked them this.
Everyone said it was a really good question
and praised me, saying,
'You must have done a lot of research.' And many doctors said, '
Why don't you provide lifetime after-sales service?
Are there many side effects?', and so on. They said that
patients who ask these questions
are really frustrating.
In the first place, if the doctor's surgical skills are well-judged,
these are questions that you wouldn't have to ask.
Before you start selling , make a consultation appointment with a doctor
who seems to have good surgical skills based on your standards, and
during the consultation, see if the parts you thought about match up after the consultation.
Why on earth do you read papers,
and why is it important to have pain after the blood bag, and
is it painful a lot on the question list
? Are there side effects?
Why are these things on the question list?
The doctor's 'surgical skills'
are more important than side effects, surgical methods, etc.
In other words, a clean and accurate mind and skills
in dealing with the surgery and the patient
during the surgical process
. So what we need to look at during the face-to-face consultation
is 'whether the doctor is a good fit for me (mind, values about surgery, etc.)'.
As I said earlier, I'm not talking about a doctor who is just kind
. If I care more about beauty than stability
, I can see the mind of the doctor who wants to fill in the beauty part well
even if it's a little difficult . If I pursue stability more than beauty, I can find out the mind of that doctor through the consultation.
And ask the director for the remaining small questions.
The directors will explain it to you in great detail.
That's their role.
[Step 3] How I felt after the consultation, emotional state
. If the consultation went well,
then write down the emotions you felt during the spare time,
such as when you left the hospital and went to another hospital
. How did the doctor feel, how was the director,
what information I needed to know
, what new things I learned, what
was uncomfortable and unpleasant, what was strong, what was new, etc.
This will really help you
organize it later and decide on a hospital

Lastly,
<Three things to watch out for!>
Most people seem to think
that plastic surgery is something that can be easily done if you just give them money
.. I really think that it is a process in which I have to diligently find what I want and
what is right for me.
1. If you are lazy and are just going to look into it roughly, then don't get plastic surgery.
-If you feel like doing even the steps above are too much trouble,
then just don't go. You
'll waste the doctor's time and
it will be a waste for other people who are prepared to not get a consultation because of you.
2. If you don't have money, never get plastic surgery based on cost-effectiveness/ Even if you have money, don't pay anywhere.
Don't replace your implants with something else or change hospitals because you
don't have money, or don't pay a lot of money without even knowing what it is. Keep that in mind.
3. Never compromise. Never be impatient. Even
after going through all the consultations,
if there is no place that says 'This is the one!', then just don't get plastic surgery.
There really is a place to do it.
And you have to be honest with yourself
about whether that feeling is genuine or
if you're just excited and want to do it quickly
. Don't be impatient. If you do it in a hurry,
you'll end up wasting time, money, and energy on revision surgery.
NO PAIN NO GAIN!
Let's quickly admit that there's nothing in this world without suffering
and even if it's annoying to look up information and
it feels painful to spend time on it, let's just be a little more diligent.
(To be honest, I'm trying to become pretty, but this doesn't seem like PAIN to me..ㅋㅋ)
