My nose was really big and my nostrils were also large and low.
During the consultation, I was told that I should straighten the bridge of my nose, remove the columella, and adjust the tip of my nose
to reduce the nostrils. However, I was afraid of contractures, so I decided to just have the nostrils reduced.
Nostril reduction actually works on both sides. It involved tying it and cutting off the flesh, both inside and outside.
As time passed, the thing that was tied with thread came loose. The thread was sticking out of the nostril like a pimple, but it was a soluble thread, so now it has all melted and disappeared.
It can be seen from the outside that it has come undone, and
even though it is difficult to breathe after the surgery, I have a complex. It was good because it seemed to be getting better.
However, recently, I was taking care of an acquaintance's cat and developed rhinitis, so I couldn't breathe through my nose.
Before that, I raised a cat at my parents' house, so I always had rhinitis, but it was never to the point where I couldn't breathe. I
ended up sleeping with my mouth open. I never woke up feeling suffocated.
When I was younger, I was okay with that kind of discomfort, but as I got older, the lack of breathing became stressful. I wonder
when it was the last time I was able to take in as much air as I wanted. Rather than the inside being swollen, the air holes became longer vertically, making my hands swell. If I widen the top, I can breathe as well as before.
I think the lateral nasal valve has narrowed.
So on the one hand, the doctor recommended things like a columellar support for the tip of the nose, but I wonder if I should have done it together, and I wonder if I should do it now.
Should I have a full nose surgery?
