Is this a nasal side effect?

It's been 2 weeks since I had my nose surgery, and my nose is so bad it's driving me crazy. I went to the hospital and they say it's not a side effect, but they say if I wait, I'll gain weight. Looking at various sites and reviews, they say it will take several months, but how can I wait? It's so bad that every time I meet someone, they'll ask me what's wrong with my nose and say it's ruined, and I'm so stressed out all day today. I cried...
