Yellow discharge after removal of contraceptive on the 3rd day of nose surgery

On the first day of my nose surgery, I went to get cotton removed, but there was blood pooling between my eyebrows, so I put a syringe in my right nostril and
 drew blood. They told me to come back on the second day, too, so I went there, but luckily I didn't get any blood.
 But from that day on, my nose kept getting stuffy and I had a runny nose? There's a lot of it...
 Today I looked at the area where the syringe was inserted? There's a yellow oozing snot like that...
 Is it because I pulled it out with a syringe or is it still yellow snot? There was ooze coming out, but I wonder if it just hardened...
 maybe because the blood was drawn with a syringe...? I'm scared to death because it's my first surgery. Really.
