Hello,
I originally had reservations at ㅂㄹㅇ, ㅌㅋ, and ㄴㅈㅎ,
but due to personal reasons, I cancelled both places and only received consultations at ㅌㅋ for now, so I’m leaving a post.
As soon as I got there, the people at the counter kindly greeted me and gave me directions, and I
sat down and filled out a chart.
They checked small details like consent to the collection of personal information, desired style, and reason for coming here, and then
I went in for a CT scan, sat on a chair, and took pictures from various angles with a camera.
Then, I had a consultation with the director
. Rather than pointing out where and where first, the director
listened to what style I wanted and what part I wanted to improve the most, and then wrote it down on the chart and
gave it to the director.
I arrived a little early than my appointment time, so I had to wait a little while to see the director, and the director
came back in the middle and apologized for the delay… He was very kind.
First, I met the director, and after a quick greeting,
we talked in more detail about why I came here
. Then, he touched my face. Well,
my face is really big because of my bones.... That's right.....
So he said that I need to get three types of contouring to see results..
I won the most expensive one...ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
(I was secretly hoping that it was because my muscles were big.. or that at least one area was less.. wow)
Then, he used Photoshop to simulate what the image would look like after the surgery.
After the director told me everything he could, I had time to ask questions and get answers about things I was personally curious about
. There were three things I asked.
First, I was thinking about orthodontic treatment, and
he said that it was okay to get orthodontic treatment before/after the surgery, and even during orthodontic treatment. He
said that orthodontic treatment and facial contouring surgery are not closely related.
But if you decide to have facial contouring surgery before or during orthodontic treatment, you have to consider your schedule to visit the dentist and
set the surgery date, so I think you will have more to worry about personally.
The second time, I asked about sagging, and after
looking at my skin, he said that it cannot be non-sagging, which was nice that he was honest.
And he said that some skin sags as you age, and
that sagging needs to be managed afterward with lifting.
Then I asked if you would do a facelift during the surgery, but he said that it is not to that extent.
Usually, after the surgery, they take pictures right after, and they check the progress for 2/4/6 months. After the major swelling and minor swelling go down to some extent, they
check the skin condition and if they think it is necessary, they said that it is right to think about it then.
The conclusion is 'It is good to think about it when necessary after looking at the progress.'
The third time, I asked about safety, and what the hospital thinks are the main side effects of facial contouring, and what they will do about them. I wonder
if I can say this;; I don't know, but
the director is also in the position of performing the surgery, but he has also been in the position of a patient who had the surgery, so
he said that he knows and
understands what was the most fearful and difficult, and that since an incision is made inside the mouth, inflammation can be a problem.
He said that an anesthesiologist is also there, and I was told that they will pay the most attention
to safety and inflammation
. He asked if I had any more questions and waited patiently, but I said that I would think about it some more and if I had any more questions,
I would write them down and ask, and that was the end of the consultation with the director. It was very comfortable, detailed, and kind.
It didn't feel like he was trying to finish the consultation quickly, so I was grateful.
After that, the director came back,
asked if the consultation was okay, and
explained in detail what to do right after the surgery if he were to proceed.
( They tell me a lot of things like it's
better not to collapse and fall asleep right after surgery to remove the anesthesia gas, and to take deep breaths, and
it's better to drink a lot of water when you can, and the importance of taking walks to reduce swelling
, the need to gargle, and how to see the progress depending on the period after the stitches are removed .)
I asked the director if there were any events based on aftercare and whether or not photos were revealed,
and I saw on the website that they show surgery videos, what exactly that is,
and how much the final cost is.
Aftercare is a one-day hospitalization right after surgery. They said that a nurse on duty will take care of you.
They also prepare some of the necessary supplies after surgery, and they said that high-frequency management is free for 14 days (2 weeks).
I was told that there is currently an event for the photo release, so I was informed.
However, the event may or may not occur depending on the time, so unless you ask the director directly during the consultation,
I don't think they will necessarily tell you first.
However, it seems that the hospital is thinking a little about marketing ('should we advertise actively?').
Personally, I think it's good right now..ㅎㅎ They said
that the surgery video is to let you know that it is not a proxy/shadow doctor surgery, so the director quietly enters during the surgery and briefly
films the surgery scene. The patient cannot receive and keep the video, and they delete it after showing it to you.
I was told that the final cost includes VAT and pre-operative examination fee.
They said that if an additional detailed examination is needed other than the essential pre-operative examination, there may be a separate cost.
They also said that such cases are very rare.
They also said that they will never proceed with the surgery if the pre-operative examination criteria are not met. (This means that I will never do unreasonable surgeries)
★※ The final cost will vary depending on each person's facial condition, so if you ask about this, there will be no answer ※★
My conclusion and extremely personal concerns..
The consultation was very detailed, and everyone from the director to the manager was really kind and nice.
I can see why this is a hospital that you must visit when you go to a spa.
Personal concerns/complaints...
1. If I make a reservation at another hospital and go there again, will I be able to receive such detailed consultation?
2. I can improve the complexes I want right away after the surgery, but
will I have the financial ability to afford the lifting and other procedures for the rest of my life due to sagging face? (In the end, it's a concern about money, lol)
3. Assuming that I give up on the surgery because of concerns about money and continue living, will I be able to let go of my attachment to the complexes I have?
There are mainly three.
In fact, if I had really good financial ability, I think I would have made an appointment right away and happily had the surgery.
If I had enough money, it would be much easier to manage and maintain it.
I think my personality that assumes the worst plays a part.
I think it will take at most 2-3 years for my complex to disappear and
I will worry a lot about maintenance after that. I think
facial contouring surgery is something that needs to be done very carefully and thoughtfully. I am
still thinking about it. I wanted to share my consultation review and hear what other people think, so I wrote this long post.
Thank you for taking the time to read this long post.
