They say there is no such thing as a complete cure for the temporomandibular joint.
I already had my temporomandibular joint corrected once with a splint 4-5 years ago. I lived without any discomfort, but since September of last year, I have been experiencing jaw pain again, so I am receiving treatment again with a new splint in December.
The pain that appeared in September has disappeared, but the treatment is not over because I have not yet corrected my teeth grinding, lifestyle habits, posture, etc. I have never had any side effects from the splint. When I first got it about 5 years ago, I wore the splint for 6 months and the opening was also reduced. This is a case that has definitely increased.
I'm posting a review in case there are people like me who have problems with their jaw joints. For reference, we recommend that you go to a hospital specializing in temporomandibular joint treatment.
