Finally, I am writing a review like this ^^
A full year has passed since I received information from Seongyesa and other plastic surgery cafes, thought about it, and made a decision.
When I plan something, I carefully consider it, gather information, and compare it. To put it in a good way, I am meticulous, but when I think about it, I may be a very tiring person. Because I received a lot of help from Seongyesa, I am also leaving a review. I hope this will be of some help to anyone.
I am currently undergoing orthodontic treatment. Before orthodontic treatment, I often heard that I had fat cheeks and a pretty face shape, and
I had a long face with narrow width. I was interested in fat grafting because I started losing facial fat just by dieting, but as I saw my face changing day by day after correction, all my interest was focused on fat grafting. I was really stressed because my face was changing.
After correction, I tried not to do even light exercise and often ate a lot to avoid losing weight. As a result, I gained abdominal obesity that was excessive compared to my body, but my face became longer and longer... my temples were especially sunken, my lips became thinner, and my chin felt longer... and fine wrinkles appeared due to the rapid weight loss. It came into existence. My nasolabial folds were severe and
I ended up losing too much while trying to get straight teeth. I looked like a kangaroo with a bulging belly. I even got a perm to cover up my skinny face, and my boyfriend even made fun of me by calling me a poodle kangaroo ^^
For about half a year, I received help from the plastic surgeons while choosing a hospital. Since I live in a rural area, I received phone or online consultations from the hospitals I chose.
If you read reviews from Seongyesa or articles from anti-plastic surgery cafes, the biggest side effect was that it all fell out quickly, and there were
bumps, over-injections, Indian bands, inflammation, asymmetry, and even minor acne.
Most of them seemed to not be able to receive sufficient explanation or treatment from the hospital where they had the surgery, even though they had side effects or complaints, and after reading the reviews of those people, I thought about giving up on the surgery.
I focused on the most important thing of seeing a trustworthy doctor and was most worried about choosing a hospital. I had to think again about whether my choice was the right one. Now that I have completed the surgery, I feel very at ease, perhaps because I am confident in the hospital I chose. Since my face is still very swollen, I am most curious about what it will look like after engraftment and whether I will be satisfied with it, but I will find out as time goes by. ^^
While preparing for surgery, I hope that other members will also know this after surgery. I would like to write down a few things.
First, when choosing a hospital before surgery, you should check whether the hospital specializes in plastic surgery.
Fat grafting is performed at a variety of hospitals, including dermatology and family medicine. It would be fortunate if the surgery was successful and engraftment went well so people were satisfied for a long time after the surgery, but I saw many people posting about the considerable side effects. Fat grafting may seem like a simple plastic surgery, but it is my personal opinion that this is not necessarily the case.
Get dermatological procedures at a dermatologist... get plastic surgery procedures at a plastic surgery clinic. There is a site where you can search to see if someone is a plastic surgeon. You can't write the address, but you can find it by searching on Naver. I also started by searching for the teacher I chose.
The second thing is to meet a teacher you can trust.
In some ways, I think it's the most important thing. In fact, after reading for just ten minutes at an anti-cosmetic cafe, I started to think that I should just get surgery or something and just live a life satisfied with what is natural.
I, too, hesitated dozens of times about whether I should have surgery. What makes me the most angry is when I read that the positions before and after surgery are different. If you read the bulletin board, the priority is to ask questions and get answers at the treatment hospital, but I have seen many cases of people posting to counselors.
I hope you go out of your way to have an interview and meet a teacher you can trust. It is most important to find a teacher who will not let go even when an unexpected situation or problem arises.
In my case, I decided because I thought at least I wouldn't have to worry if I got the treatment from the doctor I chose. Tomorrow will be exactly one week since my surgery. In order to see the progress in the future, you will somehow establish a relationship with the hospital of your choice for a long period of time to determine whether to undergo a second treatment. Be careful.
Thirdly, precautions before and after. It's purely based on my experience, so even if it's weird, right? Please understand. I have severe abdominal obesity. After correction, I stopped exercising and sat for a long time, so my stomach looked like a puffer fish. My weight is 49 kg. Eat well just by looking at my face. People say I'm pitifully thin... My stomach, thighs, and forearms are the size of an atom. The most disappointing thing is that I decided to exercise and build my body before undergoing surgery after the surgery. To increase engraftment after surgery, you need to eat well and it is recommended to gain about 2 to 3 kg. Also, if you are someone who wears glasses and is planning to do the forehead or nose area, prepare lenses in advance. I do not wear contact lenses because I have severe dry eyes, but they told me I cannot wear glasses, so even writing this is difficult. I guess I'll have to go out and get the lens adjusted eventually.^^
Even with sedative anesthesia, it is recommended to refrain from eating before surgery. I inevitably had the surgery on my period, but the swelling and bruising can get worse, so try to avoid it on your period.
If you are taking any medications 2 weeks before surgery, it is best to let us know in advance.
After the surgery... Actually, the after surgery was more difficult than the before surgery. It's still a bit like that right now.
After losing fat from my abdomen, I had difficulty bending or moving my back. Still, I can walk, but
I'm trying to sleep lying down with a belly band on... I need to sleep upright so as not to press on the transplanted area, and my back hurts, and I heard that it's better to sleep sitting up or with a higher pillow for the first three days, so I used a high pillow. As someone who hates things so much and can't stand stuffy things, it was really hard haha. A belly band on a high pillow...
You can't tell me how surprised I was when on the 4th day, I unconsciously slept with my forehead on my fisted hand and got a dent in it. I called the hospital and they said 70% of the time it will return to its original state, but if it was severely pressed, it may be difficult. I was reassured because they said that even if that were to happen, they would at least fix that part after 3 weeks.
It looks good on the outside now, but it's a bit indented. Be careful when you fall asleep . You
shouldn't sleep on your side... I guess I have bad sleeping habits, so when I wake up, I find myself sleeping slightly on my side.
Maybe that's why my left temple and the left side are less swollen. It feels like it's falling out asymmetrically, but my current face isn't mine after all, so I'm trying to think positively for the future.
Now, a lot of the swelling in my left temple and nasolabial area has gone down. As I talk and eat, I think the nasolabial area is the first thing to fall out. I try to be as expressionless as possible.
They say it's good to avoid being pressed, making big facial expressions, or talking too much.^^
I also wonder how many times a day it's going well...? Also, isn't it falling out too quickly? Worries pass through my head. Tomorrow I'm going to get stitches removed from my stomach. I'll have to see the teacher and ask.
I think the most important thing for me right now is positive thinking. I believe that if you wait positively, you will definitely get good results. The biggest question before surgery is why is it difficult to find people who still have fat after 2 or 3 years? It was. Will the fat grafting at Seongyesa continue even after a few years? If a post is posted, I hope to be able to answer yes. ^^
I wrote the contents in a haphazard manner due to eye fatigue. Please understand. ^^
Ah... I saw that the picture was too big when I uploaded it. It's a bit embarrassing. The two pictures above are just before surgery.
Below are the photos taken that afternoon after coming out of anesthesia, and the day before and yesterday.
