I made it non-fixed, and I did it by making a 45 degree incision and inserting it at the back!
Swelling in 2 weeks? The big swelling subsided and I went around right away, but no one noticed that my friends were just screaming that I had gotten prettier. I'm not the type of clown in my daily life, and I'm preparing for a job to receive a camera, so I wanted to look smoother on the camera.
I started to worry about the side effects recently, but I'm a boner for 1 year, 3 or 4 months? I took a picture after a while, but it stuck just fine. Even if it is non-fixed, I know that there is no side effect of sagging cheeks if you do it in a place where only bones are attached! I've never had a sagging feeling either. I recommend non-fixing as long as the bones stick well!
I am living well without any discomfort after the surgery.
