Hello again, ladies! I'm working hard to get my first nose tip surgery using my summer vacation!
Last week, I went to two places for counseling (you can see it if you see more of my posts ⸝⸝ ᷇࿀ ᷆⸝⸝), and
I went to two more places to go to ㅊㄷㅊ ㅁㅇㄷ! There is only one consultation reservation left.
I've summarized it in detail by reading the reviews of artists, and I hope it helps them as much as it helped me, so I'm leaving it here!
◆ My problem
- From the front, the nose is flat (round and blunt), the nostrils are visible, the bridge of the nose is bulbous, and the bridge of the nose is deep
- The skin seems to be thick
- The tip of the nose is blunt from the side
- No columella (collapsed)
◆ Desired surgery method
- No specific area on the bridge of the nose I don't want to touch it, I want to change the shape of the tip of my nose, my nostril, and my nose!
- Willing to use donor rib silicone ↓
- Willing to use autologous ribs ○
- I don't have a columella so I want to make one, but I prefer a short nose and I'm concerned that the philtrum is not too short
- I'm also considering alar reduction (I'm negative about scarring)

◈ ㅊㄷㅊ 2 years since establishment, 2 medical staff, ㄱㅌㅎ Director ENT specialist
hospital. Very clean and sparkling... Is there only one person waiting besides me? two people? There was almost no waiting time.
Chart writing - photography and CT scan - consultation with the director - consultation with the director - consultation with the director.
This was where I had my first CT scan, and it was here that I first learned that my septum was not large enough for surgery.
I saw quite a few reviews saying that the manager was unfriendly, but I didn't feel that at all! The director was very kind and delicate, just like I saw on YouTube. However, he seemed very busy... He explained the checklist he had written down clearly before asking, but I left without being able to ask everything I wanted to ask additionally
. The director used Photoshop to move a photo of my nose to create a shape, and I seemed to like it. I'm worried because the price is high ㅠ
Consultation

) I came here without thinking about a functional nose, so I told them that turbinate surgery can be done without opening, so it doesn't matter if I do it separately later, but they said they would recommend that surgery to correct a deviated septum be done at the same time as open surgery, rather than later. It's a functional surgery covered by medical insurance, so it's about 66. Since there is no columella, surgery to lower the columella and raise the nose would look good. A sassy nose is enough. It will be performed as a non-implant surgery.
- Surgical method, materials
① Lowering the tip of the nose and columella: Nasal septum (or costal cartilage)
② Raising the nostril: Raising the nose by making an incision
on the area where nasal hair grows inside the nostril. Although it is not a very dramatic increase, it will definitely help improve the shape if performed in conjunction with lowering the columella. There will be no visible scars.
Q. Doesn’t this nose require nose bridge reduction?
A. I would like to recommend raising the nostril rather than reducing the nostril. Even if you do it later if you don't like it after the surgery, the patient's nose is already a little dark in the alar line (the line on the tip of the nose that shades the tip), so when the nostril reduction is performed, the area may become darker or appear sunken. Because it is a surgery that cannot be done with a lump, it must be done with caution.
Q. If I use costal cartilage, does the septal cartilage not have to be used?
A: Yes. There is enough costal cartilage that the nasal septum will not be disturbed.
The surgery time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and is expected to take 3 hours when using autologous costal cartilage.
- Anesthesia method: sedative anesthesia
- Notice on limitations and side effects.
Is the nasal septum used in the surgery? My septum is approximately 23*27. This is a case in which the patient needs to lower the columella significantly. However, if the horizontal width is narrow, it can be disadvantageous. Surgery to add ear cartilage can be performed about 6 months after the surgery. However, after seeing several surgeries, there were many cases where the shape was unstable and dissatisfied, so I would like to recommend costal cartilage surgery. In case of autologous costal cartilage surgery, you will be concerned about the cost and scarring from the incision. There are cases where people are reluctant to use donated costal cartilage, but they said they did not notice a big difference when they had surgery.
- The recovery period
is about 10 days to 2 weeks, so there will be no problem meeting people
- I wanted to see before and after reviews similar to my nose,
but I couldn't see them... The director came to the room where I consulted and had a consultation, and the director seemed very busy. He showed me before and
after photos of the nose lift, and the improvement before and after was exactly what I wanted.
- Can't ask about after-sales service
- After-sales service period is 1 year
- Is it possible to view CCTV?
- How many surgeries are performed per day? I can't ask...
- Price
Raising the nostril + lowering the columella + tip of the nose + deviated septum
880 when using autologous ribs / 700 when using donor ribs
So far, I liked it the best out of all the hospitals in Balpoom, but the price is too high for it being my first surgery...
I should have asked what the price would be if rib cartilage was not used. ㅜㅜ
I’m thinking of making a re-consultation appointment and asking questions I couldn’t ask.

◈ ㅁㅇㄷ 5 years since establishment, 4 medical staff, ㅇㅇㅌ
It was the most crowded of all the plastic surgery specialist places I have been to. About 9-10 people... no one looked like a foreigner. The waiting time wasn't that long.
Chart writing - photography and CT scan - consultation with the director - consultation with the director - consultation with the director.
I'm sorry for what the directors standing at the counter said, but I was a little reluctant because it looked a lot like surgery...
The director was kind, but he seemed like he had only 50% of his soul. They only told me very simply what to do with the surgery and what kind of cartilage to use, so I had to take the initiative to ask them one by one afterward...! Afterwards, during the consultation with the director, he first told me that he would look at me more closely during the pre-surgery consultation than today...
The consultation fee was 10,000 won and I was forced to make a reservation. They said it couldn't be canceled but could be used for other procedures.
(It was very expensive at ㅊㄷㅊ, so I paid the reservation fee after hearing the price here, but when I thought about it and thought about it, I felt a little... dissatisfied ㅠㅠㅠ)
- CT scan O, took about 8 photos
- The condition of my nose,
I need to touch the bridge of my nose The bridge of the nose is pretty, the tip of the nose, the wings of the nose, the nostrils, the nose, the nose, and the front of the nose all need to be seen for improvement. The nasal septum is deviated.
- Surgical method, materials
① Nose tip, columella lowering: The nasal septum
is mainly used, and the tip of the nose is made with soft ear cartilage. If the nasal septum is not enough for the columella, ear cartilage can be added. If the nasal septum cannot be used, the donor rib can be used, but it is rarely used.
Q. If you use a donor rib, do you not use the septal cartilage?
A: No. I always try to remove the septum, cut it, and use the septum as much as possible (I had some doubts about this method. As a patient, what do I know... If the septum is so thin that it really becomes unusable, should we just throw it away? By cutting out the septum, I was worried that it might cause functional problems, but this is just my opinion! I think it would be a good method for patients who prefer to use the nasal septum.)
② Lowering the nostrils: They say that the front of the nostrils is filled with ear cartilage
. Reduction: Incisions are made on both the outside and inside, raising the wings of the nose.
Q. I have the shape of the nose bridge and tip that I like. Is there a way to predict which direction it will be corrected after rhinoplasty? (I'll show you the picture and compare it to my nose to explain)
He said it was very difficult to show this, and drew a picture on top of the picture of my nose...! We will do our best to make it into the shape you want.
Q. It is said that improving the nose usually requires surgery on the bridge of the nose as well. Can surgery on the tip of the nose alone be effective?
A: Yes. There is no need for nose bridge surgery because of a double nose.
Q. Do I have thick skin? Is it necessary to remove fat from inside the nose?
A: Yes. Fat removal is also planned.
- When I came out after the anesthesia
consultation and thought about it, they didn't tell me... It must be sedative anesthesia...
- Notice about limitations and side effects
Q. If you do nose reduction at the same time, won't it give you a pinched nose shape?
A. During surgery, the line at the tip of the nose folds and becomes darker, creating a pinched nose shape. When the nostrils are lowered, cartilage goes in and fills the area, so it does not have a pinched shape. (It was good that you were confident)
Q. Where and to what extent will the scar remain after nose reduction?
A. It's difficult to say to what extent because it really varies from person to person. Afterwards, they marked a photo of my nose to let me know where the scar would remain.
- The director showed me before and after photos of surgery with no implants that were
similar to my nose,
but they were all from the side, so it wasn't a case similar to mine, where I wanted a frontal improvement. The side line itself in the before and after photos looked reasonably sharp and pretty. I feel like I'm sleeping... It feels like 7:3?
- Recovery period
[Director] When the splint is removed after a week, bruising and swelling may remain, but they will be sufficiently covered with a mask.
- Is it possible to view CCTV?
- Aftercare
[Director] Treatment - Cotton removal and disinfection on the 2nd day / Removal of splint and thread on the outside of the nose (columella) on the 7th day / Removal of thread inside the nose on the 14th day, stitch removal management when using ear cartilage or autologous ribs
- Swelling injection + laser, VIP There will be care (skin care) and breast injections (if necessary after a while)
- After-sales service period is 1 year (excluding additional material and anesthesia costs)
We will take care of any problems that arise after 1 year
- How many surgeries per day? I couldn't ask
- the price
you first mentioned was about 620,
the photo review event price with the nose covered was 430.
