I first thought about getting a nose job 4-5 years ago, but I was so scared of the side effects that I kept putting it off. Then
, I really wanted to get it done 6 months ago, so I was looking into it,
and since it was in Busan, I first looked into it in writing, but I ended up deciding to have the surgery in Seoul. This is a new review I'm writing after making a new decision.
First, I made a list of a few places before I went and tried to decide in two days.
I'm a very planner, and if I didn't do much research and got the surgery and it failed, I thought I'd blame myself too much, so I'm writing this review after really looking into it.
Here's how I decided on the places.
1. Save all the nose designs I wanted with photos from Barbitok and Gangnam Unnie's reviews. Among them, I captured a few lines I really liked and saved them in a separate folder on my phone.
2. Checked the names of the directors who are mentioned a lot in rhinoplasty at Sungyesa (I searched by director, not hospital)
. 3. Checked the names of the directors who are mentioned a lot in 2. I checked the nose designs with photos from 1 again, and
even if they're famous, I excluded them if they're not the directors who can do the design I want well
(I excluded the directors of ENT departments because I was just getting a cosmetic nose job. Of course, there are directors who are good at cosmetic surgery, but surgeries done to look pretty aren't that pretty. This is my personal opinion.)
4. I filtered out reviews of factory-style hospitals even though there were many (I think it's important to be able to keep in touch after nose surgery)
5. I checked the premium reputation
So I visited about 4 places, had consultations at 3 of them, and set a surgery date for one of the 3.
I ended up not having a consultation with one of them. I will explain the reason below
, and I think that I should know the basics such as CCTV, whether there is an anesthesiologist, and basic hospital information before consulting with the director (I felt it was a waste of time asking questions since everything can be found with a little searching).
I talked with the director mainly about design (list of questions, surgical method, design, expected shape after surgery, degree of saddle/saddle surgery).
Before the consultation, I gathered the nose shape I wanted, the list of questions, and the points I wanted to improve in one place and showed them all to the consulting manager and the director.
@ My nose condition before surgery
- Small nostrils
- Not short nose (long midface)
- The wings of the nose droop like puppy ears
- The bridge of the nose is not low, so I wanted to find out mainly about the tip of the nose
@ Direction of the nose shape I want
- I don't want to
look impressive - I don't want the tip of my nose to be straight because it's down
- I want the nostrils to be slightly visible when viewed from the side
- What I hate the most is a rounded nose tip (I absolutely hate round noses, I like thin noses)
- Tip of the nose Rather than feeling like the dot is down, it feels like it's up.
@Question list
1. Do you recommend raising the wings of the nose
? : I had a complex about my nose wings being down like puppy ears. But since my nostrils are small, I was very careful about getting surgery related to the wings of the nose.
2. Since raising the wings of the nose makes it look long like an arrow nose, how about raising the tip of the nose to make it look shorter?
- Is it also possible to have a slightly stepped nose like Disney's? (Min Hyo-rin's nose)

1. ㅎㅌ
- No consultation fee / CT scan available
- No deposit required
- The staff kept laughing among themselves because they knew what was so funny
- The consultation room manager and the director are friendly
- Long wait (1 hour wait in the consultation room)
- Aftercare: Once on the 2nd day and once after 7 days
*Director consultation: Nasal angle correction, lowering the columella, but tying up the fat tip of the nose, they said the shape of the nostrils can't be changed,
if you want to see the nostrils from the side, you have to lift the nostrils (maybe the nostrils get smaller if there's an incision?)
*Director consultation
- Nasal angle correction is the top priority
- Removal of nasal tip fat, tip of the nose
- Trimming the beak and silicone
- Use of septal cartilage and ear cartilage
This is the place I liked the most for the director consultation and it was a hospital specializing in the wings of the nose, which was my biggest complex, but
the wings of the nose I liked that he told me to do the nose job first since I can get the surgery later, and he explained my complex well and my nose surgery direction was exactly the same as mine, so the consultation was really, really good. The surgery date was okay,
but the reviews for Seongye Hospital were polar opposites, and the premium reputation had bad reviews, and it seemed like they used a lot of brokers (I checked the posts of people who wrote surgery reviews and they had multiple reviews on the same day)
(I don't think I should disclose the content of the reviews, so I won't write them here. If you're curious, send me a message.)
2. P.R.M.Y (Didn't go for a consultation)
- Consultation fee is 10,000 won/ CT scan is required
- Went back without receiving a consultation with the director.
Reason for cancellation of consultation:
I had the highest expectations for this hospital, so I planned my schedule around it, and it was the second hospital I went to for a consultation, but
1. I made a reservation at 5 o'clock and went there, but they kept telling me to wait because I could only see the director at 6:20 (I don't understand this part)
2. There were many reviews of rhinoplasty revision surgery and a famous YouTuber had high expectations because he did it here. When I
visited, I understood why there were so many reviews and it was famous. The director was very busy and seemed to schedule a lot of surgeries,
so I thought it would be hard to see the director after getting my rhinoplasty.
3. I had a consultation with the director first, but he acted like a doctor and said no to this or that, which was not good.
4. The surgery schedule didn't match my schedule.
5. I was wondering if I should consult with the doctor because there was a 10,000 won consultation fee, and when I saw the reviews for Seongyesa Premium, there were a lot of bad ones, so I just said I wouldn't get a consultation and left.
3. Wow -
- There was a discount condition for same-day reservations, but the 100,000 won deposit was 100% refundable.
- You need to pay a 10% deposit to specify a date, but this deposit is fully refundable up to one week in advance.
- Desk, consultation director Kindness (They were all young and naturally pretty)
- Aftercare is unlimited if you visit (swelling laser), AS is 1 year and only material costs are incurred
- There are 2 directors, one is gorgeous/the other is sleepy~natural--> I consulted with the sleepy director
* Consultation room manager
- We talked about the hospital, and the director said it has been 4 years since she had surgery with donated ribs
* Doctor consultation
- 3mm silicone
- Whether or not to do osteotomy will be decided by the surgery center (she said she would not charge for osteotomy costs)
- I will proceed with septum occlusion, but I will add donated ribs if necessary (1 million won more if added)
- Beak cutting and flat nose correction
- Nasal angle correction (not insertion, but tying muscles and tissues - ear cartilage only in cases where it is insufficient)
- She specializes in eyes and nose and she had the same direction for nose design as me
- There were no particularly unpleasant reviews in the premium reviews
- The director's consultation was kind and the wait was not long (it might have been because I visited at 10 in the morning)
- I also took a CT scan and a photo I took a picture, printed it out, and told him how it would look like while drawing it
- He said no if it wasn't possible (nostril size, nose tip reduction, etc.) and instead suggested several alternatives.
4. ㅍㄹㅇㅂ
- The building is new
- No consultation fee, no CT scan
- Somewhat forced to make a same-day reservation (same-day reservation discount)
- The noses of the surgery models were much more flashy
* Consultation with the director
- I was confident about the surgery and I felt like he would do well in it
- The nose design and the direction of the surgery were almost the same as mine, but he was very opinionated (strongly stated what wasn't possible)
: This part is a double-edged sword. I think the director is trustworthy and it's good, but
if I don't like it after the surgery, that's my opinion, so even if the doctor thinks my nose is pretty, if it's not mine, it's not, so I wanted someone who could communicate with me a little better. Because of that, the consultation didn't feel smooth (I couldn't guess the shape of my nose after the surgery)
- I was praised for studying a lot.
- A hospital specializing in eyes and nose
- Good reviews
- The only one that doesn't use ear cartilage A place that said they use donated ribs
- the price was the most expensive (I worried a lot because of this)
+ Other places that were on my list but I couldn't go because my surgery schedule and consultation time didn't match up

Honorist I
tried to write in as much detail as possible, so I think I talked a lot and wrote a lot of useless things, but
thank you for reading the long post. I remembered how desperate I was for each and every piece of information when I was looking into it, so
I wrote down everything before the surgery~~~~ and the post ended up being really long.
If there's anything wrong with the post, please let me know!
I hope everyone gets a good consultation and surgery (of course, me too)
