consultation time was about 30 minutes with the manager and 10 minutes with the director, and there was a bit of a wait in between (the waiting alone seemed to be more than an hour in total).
First of all, the manager is very kind. The director is very confident in his own skills and diagnosis. Please show the CT right away and compare the side effect and the front effect, clearly express the nerve line, and tell me objectively which side the nerve is closer to and whether it can be deleted to some extent. (You shouldn't expect a friendly and warm consultation, but he was a very rational and cynical type.)
Here too, I was recommended a clown, and the director of the hospital said that I absolutely had to have a cortical osteotomy for a frontal effect. In order to do that, you have to follow the cheekbones for the sake of proportion to achieve the ideal contour ratio, and if you don't, you will end up regretting it because your chin will only be sharp. I also hoped for a cortical osteotomy because I wanted a clear effect from the front rather than the side, so I didn't really think it was overtreatment (even if you just refer to each hospital's YouTube channel, you can see what surgical style each director aims for and what design they prefer). I hope you take note of this. I knew that the director of this hospital preferred cortical osteotomy, and that was why I came to this hospital for consultation, so it was something I expected.) He said that a total of three fixing
pins would be inserted into the cheekbones, one on the front, one on the side, and one on the top, to fix the side cheekbones. He said that a sideburn incision is necessary here too.
To prevent secondary angles, an incision must be made up to the front of the chin even without touching the tip of the chin, so I used 3 types of contouring: cheekbone + square jaw + chin tip (no separate surgery). The doctor also said that I had never thought much about the chin tip, so it would be better to
leave it as is. You said it seemed like
it was cost-related, but I was wondering why there were 3 types of treatments since they don't do chin tip, but the director said it was just trimming the chin tip to prevent secondary angles, so I thought I'd just do it (other hospitals all charge similar amounts...)
