Do they not often use donated ribs for the first surgery?
My nose has a really flat bridge and a lot of columella. I
have been to 4 places in the provinces and 2 in Seoul for consultations.
The provinces only talked about the septum + ear cartilage, but
the one near Sinsa Station said that I have a small nasal septum and that they would use
costal cartilage in addition to the septum + ear cartilage. And the one near Gangnam Station said that I have a beak, which hospitals have not talked about before, and that they would have to do an osteotomy and that they would use two costal cartilages for the nasal septum.
Do they usually use donated ribs for the first surgery? I was surprised to hear that they would use two for the first time. Is my nose that short? ㅜ.ㅜ Will the shape not turn out well if they only use ear cartilage for the septum? I want to get it done in one go, so I am looking into it carefully, but I am confused whether I should look into more hospitals in Seoul. ㅠㅠ
