It's been exactly 2 weeks since I had
the non-open, non-implanted beaks grounded and the cartilage rearranged
at the tip of my nose. The top of the photo is the rear and the
bottom is the transition. When I put the photo up, it looks a lot better.
But as you can see in the photo, most of the nose is not smooth, so it's
45 degrees? Looking at it, the bridge of the nose looks completely flat and lumpy.
I wonder if I should have had an osteotomy.
I had consultations at 4 places, but only one recommended an osteotomy (they didn't say I had to do it, and said it was the patient's choice), so
I had the surgery without an osteotomy.
There was swelling in that area. Is it possible, or is the beak less sharpened?
When I touch it, I can feel the bone right away. It looks like the swelling has almost gone away.
Please give me your opinion.
