I had a very severe septal deviation, so I used to breathe through one nostril, but along with septal deviation surgery, I had rhinitis, a nasal valve, etc., and had an osteotomy and a septum at the tip of my nose!! However, I used as little as possible to straighten the tip of the nose and as little as possible to shave the bone, so it's almost the same as my nose.
Today is the 4th day since the surgery, and when I took out the cotton that I had put in my nose yesterday, it felt really cool and my nose was pierced. It was the first time I felt anything like this, and the doctor said, I'm not sure about the plastic surgery because there's still swelling, but they said the septum deviation surgery went very well. But after getting a car, my nose got stuffy, so I'm breathing through my mouth again.
Sometimes I can breathe through my nose, but is this a side effect of the osteotomy? There is no pain or itching whatsoever.
