First of all, this is my first nose surgery ㅠ I have a bulbous nose with a larger nostril tip than the wings. From the beginning, I looked into private hospitals.
The hospitals I've been to for consultations are ㅇㅅㅅㅇㅌ ㄱㅅㅂ ㅁㄷㄹ ㅁㅌ ㄹㅋㅋ ㅇㅈ (ㅖ) ...
+ If you're curious about the reviews after the consultations, please ask.
Right now, the places I'm most attracted to are Sinsa ㅁㄷㄹ Apgujeong ㄱㅅㅂ, but there aren't many reviews and the surgical methods are slightly different, so I'm worried ㅠ
For reference, my nose has a high bridge and a very slight beak.
Sinsa Hospital decided to slightly trim the beak, tie the nose tip cartilage, and use the nasal septum to slightly lower the columella. The doctor said that if it seemed like a good idea to reduce the wings during the surgery, they would ask my doctor and proceed. The doctor really seemed like a doctor, and I trusted him the most. Everyone was kind and didn't seem pushy.
At Apgujeong Hospital, they also suggested that I slightly grind down the beak and thinly apply silicone about 1mm on the bridge of my nose to correct my slightly crooked nose and cover my beak softly. Since my septum is hard, they will probably not use it and will just do cartilage repositioning + cartilage tying and nostril reduction. They said that my nose originally has flesh, so using ear cartilage would make it look bigger. I
like both places, but I am worried that there are not many review photos and that the shape of my nose tip, which is my biggest concern, will not improve. I was thinking about thinly applying silicone like at Hospital 2 because I was worried that my beak would grow back and become bumpy, but I am wavering when I see other members who say that silicone definitely has side effects. I think lowering the columella would help improve the shape, but I think Hospital 2 would be the best for a soft nose. What do you think? I would like some advice for someone who is having their first surgery.
