I didn't know it before the surgery, but I was fighting a runny nose and snot every day for two weeks.
I was told not to untie it for a while after the surgery, but it was so frustrating that I sniffed it and unwrapped it without touching it and gently wiped it with a tissue. Is it okay after doing it? I'm worried...
When my nose feels dry and clogged and stuffy, I put a cotton swab inside my nose to clean it, but I was
told not to do this, so I was more worried, but
at some point, I couldn't get over the stuffiness and ended up cleaning my nose with a cotton swab.
This is something I never thought about before the surgery.
Rather than the surgery itself, it was the fact that I covered myself with cotton for a week (
it was a really terrible week) and not being able to blow my nose. (I used to have rhinitis, so it was even worse). Also,
sleeping with a high pillow...
I mostly slept sitting up for about 5 days, and I couldn't sleep properly because it was uncomfortable.
Anyway, after a week of extreme cold, I am having a hard time because of the runny nose and snot.
The inside of my nose is still very red and swollen... and
sometimes a little blood comes out after I blow my nose.
Nose surgery is not something to be taken lightly.
I read online posts (hospital advertisements) that said you could do your daily life in a week and that there would be almost no problem in your daily life in two weeks, so I
had the surgery without too much trouble, but it wasn't an easy decision to make.
After a month, you will be able to blow your nose, right? Of course, you shouldn't loosen it too hard then, but I wonder if it's okay to loosen it a little more comfortably than now. I know I have to be careful for 3-6 months, but...
these days, I wish 3 months would go by quickly.
