I'll upload a photo first.
hello. I had both rhinitis surgery and plastic surgery a year ago, but it was a failure, so I am preparing for the fourth surgery.
A year ago, they used 4mm silicone ear cartilage and removed the nasal septum and discarded it.
In addition, during the second surgery, they found out that there was a foreign substance in the columella area, so I am planning to have surgery and would like to ask for some advice.
I consulted with 10 hospitals, and they said that because they used up all of the ear cartilage and nasal septum, there was no cartilage that could be used in the columella area, so I had to make my own ribs,
and if I removed the silicone, ground it a lot, and filled it with dermis, it would be much lower than my previous nose.
The doctor said to reuse the existing ear cartilage for the costal cartilage support for the bridge of the nose and the tip of the nose, and if it is not enough, use the costal cartilage.
I'm currently considering surgery on S.K., but I can't decide. Please consult with those who are experienced or have had rib surgery.
1. I am worried that there is a high possibility of bending when using the ribs on the bridge of the nose and that it cannot be removed. What do you think?
2. Due to the problem of removing the columella, the ribs must be used, but what should I do with the bridge of the nose? I am afraid of inserting foreign objects.
The bridge of the nose is also raised through the entire
rib. Give up on height altogether and raise it with the dermis.
Lay out 1-2 millimeters of rib thinly and place the dermis on top.
I've heard of three methods, but no matter how much I think about which one is better, I'm having trouble deciding.
If there is anyone who has had surgery, knows someone, or has any information about this,
please send me a note or comment, even though it may be annoying. I'm really stressed and desperate. Please help me.
